its a pity. i did not vote for all the elite delegates and just because there aren't enough users that do the same all the elite members receive money and they do just nothing.

Welcome to a world of politics and cartels Sad

I was a firm believer in the DPoS system in the beginning, but after the honeymoon phase is over, I definitely see a big problem with DPoS systems and I don't really see a solution to it. ARK, EOS and the others don't solve it either. There is a "winner takes it all" problem with all of them. I do still like smaller systems, like SHIFT, but it's a matter of time until they face the same problems.

Version 1.0.0 was updated five days ago and when you hover above you see that there is zero things to do. Does that mean that the core 1.0 is actually over but everything need to be multi tested before mainnet release?

What Is Lisk Core? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfF9EPwQDOY

In short, Lisk Core is the codebase of the rules established by the Lisk Protocol. It is a mandatory program to be executed on every node in the Lisk network, and guarantees the validity of the data contained within the Lisk blockchain and the new data being written on it.

his is a really cool and modern project! I strongly advise everyone to participate and I am sure in the near future, this project will make great x's and will bring an incredible profit to the one who had the sense to invest in the project! Good luck to all and profit!!!
I am very glad that has found this project on internet open spaces, the first company with a ready-made product which carries out by ICO. The cool team of managers, will help with any question. I recommend the project, very abrupt. this project is really great. You present the layout of the article is very concise and rich, there is something really nice to attract people I believe this project will be successful sooner than expected

Great to hear that things are almost together, fingers crossed that we'll start seeing some practical uses for lisk with 1.0 and start taking some ground from Etherium

We've been waiting long enough for this, Ethereum is struggling now due to increasing demand and the only competitor so far is NEO. When LISK is released there will be another contender, just hope it's not too late.

We need spread the word and find lots of uses for Lisk, if there is enough media backing and viable use cases for people to start using Lisk then we will be fine =)

The technology of Lisk coin project is not bad. The platform based on JavaScript technology still has a very good foundation for development.

We are waiting fore the Core 1.0 release and after that everything should speed up, this year HQ plans to double on the number of employees from 50+ to 100+ people.

The community appears to be somewhat dead after the re-Launch. I figure a great many people left after the landfill or were simply unsettle by the relaunch - which lets be realistic brought nothing that much for esteem for a time of work. I am sad however a Logo, Site and Lisk Hub isn't a ton for a time of work with the cash and size of group you have LISK HQ.

Yea I agree, but not for the same reasons.

The problem is he neglected his voting, it's 100% his own doing that he didnt get paid.
2 minutes and 4 lisk away from a fully staked account isnt a hard task.

why is lsk price collapsing?

As long as Bitcoin 'tanks' all altcoins will also 'tank'.

When Bitcoin gets a cold the altcoins get pneumonia! Sad

I myself have a new viewpoint on the next few years, ie: everything is a 'bubble' crypto, stock market, etc. I see a pretty good recession coming

instead of a 20% correction, which is the typical definition of a recession,  I'm thinking more like 40%. So just trying to keep 'debt free' and ride through this.

If we are 'lucky' BTC and altcoins and LISK will act as a 'store of value' like gold and at least go sideways if not up...if not...it will be a long wait

like stocks and traditional investments....too much going on...a recession is coming if not even more social angst in the USA...just gonna roll with it.

Hello everybody.
Any of you who are familiar with the Lisk Subreddit may know me as a mod from there.
On the subreddit I post a daily Lisk highlights post during the working week and a highlight recap of the week to every Saturday.
These seem to be popular, so I thought I might adapt them and introduce them over here also.

So without further ado, here is the first Lisk highlights post on the bitcointalk forums.
I hope you enjoy it.

Here are the highlights and interesting items from yesterday on the Lisk reddit sub and beyond.....

- Lisk app creation in China! On July 7th, a brand new "Elite Incubator" opened up in the Chinese city of Xiamen. This was facilitated by Lisk's Elite delegates, Luiz in particular. What is an Incubator and how can it help foster the creation of apps many folk have asked? Well, incubators cater to new startups specifically, nurturing the growth of a new project as the name "Incubator" suggests; think of a chickens egg or a little baby being kept warm and safe inside an incubator. A project incubator typically offers shared office spaces, networking and mentoring opportunities, and perhaps some startup capital. Co-working is often a part of the incubator experience, though some offer private office spaces. I'm sure we will find out more about the "Elite Incubator" in due course. For now we know that it is situated within a 500m2 venue and is the first E. Asian hub for Lisk sidechain projects. You can take a look at all the happy faces from the launch in this twitter post here.... https://twitter.com/LiskHQ/status/1016979762483474432
Who knows, we might be looking at the next Zuckerberg somewhere amongst all those smiles.

- Lisk user interfaces under the spotlight in Poland! This week, a number of Lightcurve employees travelled to Poznan in Poland for another round of workshops with https://www.netguru.co/
The meeting was to discuss how to make Lisk’s products even more intuitive and their ecosystem more seamless. This is a continuation of HQ's aim to make Lisk the most accessible blockchain platform in the world. To this end Lisk has teamed up with Netguru which, next to Taikonauten, will help them push the boundaries of user experience in blockchain user interfaces. Recently a decision was taken to divide HQ's frontend development team into two specialized teams. One team will be responsible for Lisk Hub, while the other will be responsible for our future mobile user interfaces for iOS and Android. You can see a selection of images from the recent Netguru workshop here..... https://www.instagram.com/p/BlGKx8cjPz7/?hl=en&taken-by=liskhq

- Lisk support release new tool!  Delegates Lisk support https://lisk.support/ have always been very good for providing helpful tools for us Liskers. It seems like it has only been a short while since they unveiled their Lisk pending tool which calculates the pending payouts from all Lisk individual and group pools that your Lisk address has earned. Now Lisk support are back with a new tool that reveals how Lisk is distributed amongst all wallets, and how much these wallets are currently valued at. For visual learners this new tool even comes with a video demonstrations to explain how it works. You can check out the tool here.... https://lisk.support/lisk-richlist/ and its video demo here.... https://lisk.support/lisk-support/new-tool-lisk-richlist/
Well done, and keep up the good work, Lisk support.

That's it for today's highlights.
If you have tips on stories or videos related to Lisk, blockchain, Javascript etc. then send me a private message with your news on these bitcointalk forums or through the private message system on reddit.... https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=John_Muck and I will consider it for my daily post.
