Hello everybody.
Any of you who are familiar with the Lisk Subreddit may know me as a mod from there.
On the subreddit I post a daily Lisk highlights post during the working week and a highlight recap of the week to every Saturday.
These seem to be popular, so I thought I might adapt them and introduce them over here also.

So without further ado, here is the first Lisk highlights post on the bitcointalk forums.
I hope you enjoy it.

Here are the highlights and interesting items from yesterday on the Lisk reddit sub and beyond.....

- Lisk app creation in China! On July 7th, a brand new "Elite Incubator" opened up in the Chinese city of Xiamen. This was facilitated by Lisk's Elite delegates, Luiz in particular. What is an Incubator and how can it help foster the creation of apps many folk have asked? Well, incubators cater to new startups specifically, nurturing the growth of a new project as the name "Incubator" suggests; think of a chickens egg or a little baby being kept warm and safe inside an incubator. A project incubator typically offers shared office spaces, networking and mentoring opportunities, and perhaps some startup capital. Co-working is often a part of the incubator experience, though some offer private office spaces. I'm sure we will find out more about the "Elite Incubator" in due course. For now we know that it is situated within a 500m2 venue and is the first E. Asian hub for Lisk sidechain projects. You can take a look at all the happy faces from the launch in this twitter post here.... https://twitter.com/LiskHQ/status/1016979762483474432
Who knows, we might be looking at the next Zuckerberg somewhere amongst all those smiles.

- Lisk user interfaces under the spotlight in Poland! This week, a number of Lightcurve employees travelled to Poznan in Poland for another round of workshops with https://www.netguru.co/
The meeting was to discuss how to make Lisk’s products even more intuitive and their ecosystem more seamless. This is a continuation of HQ's aim to make Lisk the most accessible blockchain platform in the world. To this end Lisk has teamed up with Netguru which, next to Taikonauten, will help them push the boundaries of user experience in blockchain user interfaces. Recently a decision was taken to divide HQ's frontend development team into two specialized teams. One team will be responsible for Lisk Hub, while the other will be responsible for our future mobile user interfaces for iOS and Android. You can see a selection of images from the recent Netguru workshop here..... https://www.instagram.com/p/BlGKx8cjPz7/?hl=en&taken-by=liskhq

- Lisk support release new tool!  Delegates Lisk support https://lisk.support/ have always been very good for providing helpful tools for us Liskers. It seems like it has only been a short while since they unveiled their Lisk pending tool which calculates the pending payouts from all Lisk individual and group pools that your Lisk address has earned. Now Lisk support are back with a new tool that reveals how Lisk is distributed amongst all wallets, and how much these wallets are currently valued at. For visual learners this new tool even comes with a video demonstrations to explain how it works. You can check out the tool here.... https://lisk.support/lisk-richlist/ and its video demo here.... https://lisk.support/lisk-support/new-tool-lisk-richlist/
Well done, and keep up the good work, Lisk support.

That's it for today's highlights.
If you have tips on stories or videos related to Lisk, blockchain, Javascript etc. then send me a private message with your news on these bitcointalk forums or through the private message system on reddit.... https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=John_Muck and I will consider it for my daily post.

Keep the faith Liskers!

Does anyone have the information when the RobinHood app will list other altcoins for trading? Btc and ETH are available for couple of months already and Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash are the new addings since yesterday.Their plan is to list 12 more cryptocurrencies and Lisk is one of them but they are silent.

Hello everybody.
Any of you who are familiar with the Lisk Subreddit may know me as a mod from there.
To ensure you are kept updated with all the advancements around the Lisk project I am here to provide you with the highlights and interesting items from yesterday on the Lisk reddit sub and beyond.....

- Lisk continues its clarity! HQ are getting closer and closer to the release of Lisk Core 1.0.0 to Mainnet and now the latest weekly development update has arrived to detail the measures they are taking to ensure that the release is of the highest quality. The steps include making sure that all Lisk products — Lisk Elements, Lisk Explorer, Lisk Commander and Lisk Hub — are compatible with Lisk Core 1.0.0. You can read the latest weekly development update here..... https://blog.lisk.io/development-update-road-to-core-1-0-mainnet-997e5d01faba and you track the progress of every release by browsing the Projects section on the Lisk Core GitHub here...... https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk/projects

- Lisk Elements development.  Lisk Elements is a collection of JavaScript libraries containing several separately-installable modules, each covering a distinct region of Lisk-related functionality, for example sending Lisk transactions from the client or server. Lisk Elements includes a set of Lisk-related constants, relevant cryptographic functions, mnemonic passphrase helpers, functions for creating, signing and verifying transactions, an API client for interacting with nodes on the Lisk network. The first release candidate for Lisk Elements v1.0.0. has arrived and you can try out the Elements release candidate on the Testnet here..... https://www.npmjs.com/package/lisk-elements/v/1.0.0-rc.0

- Lisk receives a mention in Business.com! In an article titled "How Companies Can Take Advantage of Blockchain", contributer, Michael Georgiou, said he felt "blockchain is more than a trend, but some business owners might wonder how to get started". He continued by saying "[Suspicious link removed]es with a learning curve, making initial install and set up a challenge". The solution he reckoned was "If you don’t have an IT or tech team ready to create or manage your blockchain, you can still take advantage with blockchain as a service". Then linking to https://lisk.io/ he explained that "Lisk is a blockchain platform for JavaScript developers who create dApps".  Lisk was in good company, as Amazon, Kaleido, Oracle, Huawei, IBM’s Hyperledger, and Microsoft were mentioned it the same piece. For those unfamiliar with Business.com, well basically it is a website thats covers business industry news and trends for growth companies and the B2B community. To get the full insight you can read the "How Companies Can Take Advantage of Blockchain" article here...... https://www.business.com/articles/benefits-of-blockchain/

- Lisk videos around the world! Anybody here speak Russian? Криптоботаника - про криптовалюты (in English "Cryptobotany - about cryptic currencies") runs a cryptocurrency over on Youtube that has pulled in around 9000 subs. In his latest video he deals with the following... "The forecast for 2018 on the cryptocurrency Lisk, what prospects, is Lisk a competitor to Ethereum, what to expect in the short term, should I invest in Lisk, and the real advantages of a Lisk coin". If you are interested in learning more (provided you speak the language) then you can view the video here....... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_vc9-R-x5Y)
I would welcome any input from speakers of the aforementioned language on the content of the video. Don't forget to give the Youtube channel of the original poster a thumbs up.

Don't you want that? We have a chance to buy more cheap lisk pre-december pump. Its like the market resets, and given us 2nd chance to ride it all the way to the top.

Right, how many people were complainin in january, regretting not buying more at a lower price. They got their wish, why not buy more now?

Totally normal behaviour. That's why, when you trade, you evaluate your buy zone at a point in time where it's not even close to it. Then, stick to the plan. Emotions are dangerous when trading.

Hello everybody.
Any of you who are familiar with the Lisk Subreddit may know me as a mod from there.
To ensure you are kept updated with all the advancements around the Lisk project I am here to provide you with the highlights and interesting items from over the weekend on the Lisk reddit sub and beyond.....

Lisk USA hit double figures with their latest report!  /u/E_1-3-3-7 from our reddit community, and part of the Lisk USA group http://www.liskusa.io has just released the 10th episode of The State of Lisk Report on www.liskusa.io. You can find it here.... http://www.liskusa.io/the-state-of-lisk-report-ep-10/.  Among the latest news in this edition is the release of a new Lisk Academy video, the opening of the Elite Incubator, the new LightCurve hires and much, much more.  Keep up the good work, Lisk USA.

Lisk is not a bubble, but Bitcoin is, claims blog post!  Didi Lace, entrepreneur and co-founder of the blockchain project https://www.madana.io/ is the author of the post that I'm sure will be deemed controversial by some folk. It is no surprise so that his project MADANA is due to be one of the first major dApps to be built on a Lisk sidechain. This platform for data analysis using Blockchain technology allows participants to get in on the data market with their own data, whilst simultaneously preserving their privacy by design. The token on this sidechain will be the Privacy Analysis Exchange Coin (PAX). You can read Didi's theories on Lisk and Bitcoin in the piece "Beloved Bitcoin is a bubble. Why LISK is not!.....https://blog.madana.io/beloved-bitcoin-is-a-bubble-why-lisk-is-not-fae010b12f63. Don't forget to give his post a thumbs up if you agree, and if you have any views on it I would like to read them here also.

Lisk makes a splash at a pool party! Yep, a pool party with Lisk involved, and of course those lively Lisk Delegates http://bloqspace.io/ were behind it. See if you can take all this in. It was based around a Crypto TV show that bloqspace are sponsoring. The Crypto TV show was filming at a charity event in Texas for the National Kidney Foundation, and the event featured a beachwear fashion show from a major designer. Bloqspace report that the Lisk community booth was a unquestionable hit at the launch party event for the show, as it brought out a lot of nocoiners with deep pockets and influence who are now fully exposed to Lisk's blockchain technology. In a clever move bloqspace used the real estate aspect of https://brikbit.io/ as a way to cater the Lisk message to the launch party demographic. Images of the Lisk community booth and the pool party can be found here.... https://twitter.com/BrikBit/status/1017643569434251265 , and they are safe for work I promise. Wink

Hello everybody.
John_Muck, a mod from the Lisk Subreddit here.
On the subreddit I post a daily Lisk highlights post during the working week and a highlight recap of the week every Saturday.
Here are the highlights and interesting items from yesterday on the Lisk reddit sub and beyond.....

Lisk closes one door and opens another!
Ok, so our community manager Jan Liz-Fonts leaving us could not be classed as a highlight. Lightcurve, the development studio behind Lisk, and Jan have decided to part ways following a mutual decision and agreement, and his employment contract will officially end this week.  u/thomelsch, the Marketing Lead on the Lisk project said, "We want to take this opportunity to thank Jan for all of his incredible efforts and commitment in the Lisk project. As one of the most engaged community members before joining the project, we are confident that he will share his blockchain and cryptocurrency industry expertise in an unbiased fashion. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors".
Jan has now launched a new Youtube channel where he will cover subjects within the whole cryptocurrency realm, so I'm sure we can expect plenty of reviews and interviews related to Lisk also. You can check out Jan's channel here..... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsYPNzUMTF0tadZZWeD3lXQ?via=tb
Now I mentioned about one door closing and another one opening, well, Mat from Lisk HQ has said there will be two new members joining the Lightcurve team in August. The roles these new people will take are number one, a community manager, and number two, a tech evangelist, who will focus on the community to begin with. A tech evangelist is normally a person who builds a critical mass of support for a technology, and then establishes it as a leading technical standard in a market. This support can be built up through talks, articles, blogging, vlogs, or the creation of sample projects. Interesting times ahead so!

Lisk community group in Thailand learning more about the project each day!
u/richykent is helping to facilitate a new group of Bangkok based blockchain enthusiasts learn all about the Lisk project. He said, "Starting with their first document, a translation of the lisk GitHub whitepaper. I'm going to be helping them plug into what Lisk is trying to achieve". A link to the document and further details can be found on richykent's reddit thread here..... https://www.reddit.com/r/Lisk/comments/8z9311/new_lisk_group_in_thailand_starting/.
โชคดี  (Good luck)

Lisk Trading analyst says "bottom found"!
Do you believe in trading analysis when it comes to crypto trading? I'd love to hear your thoughts. As food for those thoughts, here is a Lisk trading analysis observation that was sent to me in the other day. It is from raiseNstuff on tradingview.com with his Lisk trading analysis titled "bottom found", where he points out that "It seems that Lisk has already found its minimum price for this year -2.03% and it is doubtful for me whether the declines will continue. The volume is very weak and the price has stabilized at the level of $5. I think that we can expect a slow price increase in the entire market soon, not only in Lisk". See the analysis here.... https://pl.tradingview.com/chart/LSKUSD/QxoRCX0u/.

That's it for today's highlights.
