Are you sure Mandana is a just a fork of LISK? They claim to be the first side chain ICO which is the confusing part. If you want to look at a fork of the lisk blockchain then check out ONZ COIN, even the voting system is the same as LISK, and the web wallets. www.onzcoin.com

just out of curiosity - how can this Madana-project run "as a sidechain" in the near future? Lisk itself still can't serve such tech (after almost 3 years of development), and it´s still unclear when these sidechains will be finally available, tested and ready for usage? Find it a bit surprising if you as startup can allow the luxury of waiting, waiting and furthermore waiting...

I was wondering the same thing, looking at the comments on their telegram channel the SDK is about 1 year away from being available. It's possible that those rumours are just spread by fudders or secret ARK agents and the SDK release date is actually closer than we think.

I don’t know too many things about ark, but I  think there has potential to provide good investment opportunity to new people in coming months.

It's just me. I'm annoyed to see Lisk keep copying Ark ideas. Everything you see with Ark expecting to see it with Lisk a few months later.
A month ago it was this extra field and now dynamic fees, then Ark deployer? Lisk look more and more like Ark and it step on my foot/toe.
I meant you guys giving the Lisk team so much luxury times here and it offer nothing from it subject as Lisk + JavaScript App/sidechain. It's a very thin line of Lisk being a vaporware. I think basically most of you guys been fooled!

We are partnered with Lisk and we will build the first Lisk sidechain dApp as soon as the SDK is available.

We are currently building everything necessary around in the meantime as our open platform consists of multiple technologies, not only blockchain.

Why isn't LiskHQ changing the amount delegates compulsorily have to pay to their voters to a fixed percentage? The problem right now is, that delegates/cartels are dictating the prices. If everyone would have to offer the same, there wouldn't be anymore cartels and delegates contributing the most will remain.

Trouble with cartels is they have the power, as soon as you'd get such a change thru ...the delegates would flood the market and tank it with lisk ..why keep lisk on hand in

massive amounts if i can't make bank on it as you say above....thus like in the economic crisis of the usa...and bankers .big lisk players have us by the balls..so imho, not a chance

in hell this system will change with the danger and the amount of LISK being held to be a delegate and get away with this...

ON the other hand, it forces these big boys to hodl lisk...which otherwise would not be the case...it musta hurt like hell to watch LISK drop from what 30 bucks to now 3.42 usd

so not exactly all in their favor risk wise

anyway, what do I know, I bought 2k of lisk at $8.42 I think it was and now it is $3.42....oops...as a source to count on ..me...not so much

Short answer: There's no way to enforce this without effectively centralizing the system. Say, 90% of your earnings need to be shared.

• 1. Someone could still undercut it and distribute 91% instead of 90% to get more votes. There's no way to prevent this, because how can the network as a whole differentiate between a regular transaction and a voting bribe payment? And even if there would be a way to punish unwanted behavior, delegates are enforcing the rules, so…
• 2. …if a majority of delegates refuses to adapt these changes, there's not much the Lisk team can do. Forking them out would essentially mean that they admit that Lisk is centralized, either by the delegates, or the dev team. Plus, you'd start with a new fork, which has exactly the same weaknesses as the network before.
• 3. With cartels voting for each other, most of the compulsory share lands back in their own pocket anyway. You can't detect which voter is part of the cartel.

Fact is: Lisks DPoS is inherently broken. There's no sugarcoating it. Having an ARK-style way of vote-distribution, where the voting weight is divided among the delegates a voter voted for, fixes it a bit, though not commpletely, I'm afraid.
