As some of you may know, there is a travellers box in Istanbul which located at the airport. Unfortunately, this machine has no longer bitcoin exchange service. I knew about the machine for some time but never had the chanche to use it. I was very annoyed when I found out it was gone. There were everything else but bitcoin.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You are probably right. But it is a good idea to place such a machine at airport. I had some cash left in my pocket after a week in Istanbul and it would be great to buy bitcoin with them. I wonder if there is such a machine which still provides bitcoin exchange service in any airport.
