$2020 by 2020 is easily achievable. It is more difficulty to reach $2017 by 2017. But it is still doable.

shouldn't we see the difference in the price after the halving? Bitcoins price is based on supply and demand.
Last halving the price hit $1k, 1 year after the halving.

bitcoin will not possibly go to such a huge price by the end of this year in my opinion because it has never reached such big money of the time right now, i think that its not possible

Halving is only a part of what makes the price. With each passing halving, the impact in form of newly created coins is relatively small compared to that
already in circulation. In the end it's the overall demand what dictates the price. Just like it was once said; if only one application gets viral/killer app,
bitcoin is going to be counted in thousands in price. Doubt that will happen by the year end, but who knows, i'we seen stranger thing happen.

So youre saying within 4 years you can easily see $2k? I mean the circulation already is at 80% almost, and the price is where $410 as the lowest average..

It will be not possible as you can see now you see already that the price is not even rising that fast know so that is quite bad already but it is good to be positive about Bitcoins.
We have to be also realistic and I think that Bitcoin will only reach in the future just the $500 and that is all I think.

Dumb people that can't handle their greed will always jump in on high peaks hoping to make some quick profits. But the reality turns out to be completely different for these people....

Very unlikely for the price to be $2016 in 2016 but it is not going to happen from what I am seeing. We are now on our way to $500 so the chance that the price will be in the thousands is small.

For now, yes, the chance to reach that price was too small.. except if big time bitcoin collectors would hoard til the supply of bitcoin drops, which I think would never happen..

this thread is basically the same as the thread where op thinks we may see $3600 this year. we haven't even reached $1000 let alone $600 and people start already with speculating about the bitcoin price being worth a few $k. we might see the price reach a few $k in 2018 or later. this year not.

I am agree with it is impossible that bitcoin to hit $2016 in the end of 2016. do you think that how can it possible, people are not too much stupid, they can understand, this thread is just an imagination.

I dont think that it will happen because you can already see now that the value of Bitcoin is now quite low and many people who already have Bitcoin are not happy with the value.
And that is logic because they want to make some profit fast and that is now not possible.

It is hard to believe that is possible to happen this year even after halving. bitcoin may reach $700 or $800 at the end of 2016 but I do not think it will be more than $1K

$2016 is a high value and that is almost impossible to reach that value and of course it would be nice if it can reach it but we have to be also realistic.
And I only think that the value of Bitcoin will only reach the $700 in the end of the year.

No I do not think this will happen to be honest, I even think it will be much lower.
The fact is that there is coming a halving but I think the maximum price of the bitcoin after the halving will be around the 1500 dollar and not more than that, so my answer is no.
