The chance of this happening is so small then I am not going to get my hopes up for this because it would just end up being a waist.
The only thing possible this year is the price of the Bitcoin reaching $1000, that is the only thing that I see happening.

No I do not think this is gonna happen 2016 dollar is just way too much for the bitcoin and its also need to get more popular to even do this.

we have to be satisfied with the price what we have now, as we reached this level by crossing more price fluctuations. it will be far better to stay slow than to meet big bubble.

although this seems like a hard thing to happen for bitcoin but i agree that a slow rise or even an stable price is so much better for bitcoin adoption.

There are too many factors that can break through a stable rise. Something that isn't bad news at all can still have a huge impact on the price. Just look at what happened when Craig Wright said to be Satoshi. The entire market was in panic. And for what? For nothing. It's just a clown. After all the years the market still reacts the same when it comes to bad news, but they are somewhat immune for good news. Weird market for sure.

Reaching $700 and staying solid after the halving to me seems pretty good, If we get this stability then i see no reason why we couldnt go up to 1000 or higher in a years time. I beleive after the halbing and reaching the highest point for this halving we will make a correction and head back down again maybe settling around $500. I dont think its going to be as easy to get to 1k and stay their as people think.

the price at the end of 2016 will be determined soon after the halving and based on how things will be like. if the price goes so high that we can consider it a bubble i think $2000+ is possible to reach in a two or three step big rises but if the rise is small after the halving and the slow rise continues as it was continuing for the last year it will only reach $800+ by the end of the year.

$2000 is not possible if there is no good reception of the introduction of the SegWit and the 2MB block size.

Id say now that op is way off, In my opinion we are probably looking at breaching $1000 next year, Until then we will probably hover from $500 all the way up to $700. This kind of price seems wihtin reason from the adoption we are currently at. Should there be a massive influx of people buying bitcoin then its possible we could go higher but there would have to be some kind of force driving this. the only other way  would be an artificial pump by some whale which would obviously be temporary .

I think so. The price will be around $700 for the next 3 to 4 months, then it will rise to $1000 after a few more months.
