Hello! I read the post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1070552.msg11455727#msg11455727No, having multiple accounts on the same IP wouldn't be that much of a problem, but be warned that once an account is banned, other accounts related to the same IP of the account banned will also be banned.
What if I use Tor to read the forum and scammers use Tor too. Some scammer could scam through the same Tor exit node that I use (but I am not a scammer). Will I have a ban? The same situation could be if honest person use the same VPN with scammer.

Posting from tor is no problem... registering from tor is. Almost all tor exit nodes have a high amount of evil points. It can take a lot of satoshi's to pay the penalty fee in order to unlock your account.

The statement in your quoted post is false. Just because there are several accounts using the same IP, doesn't mean all of them are going to get banned if one gets - that would only happen if we knew or found out that said accounts are connected. There are IP bans, however they don't ban all users using that IP but rather do what the following quote describes: Q: Why is my IP banned? What are those units of evil? A: Your IP might be banned because it was used by a user that got perma banned. Don't worry - IP bans decay over time if there's not too many of them during a small period. If you register using a banned IP, are using TOR, VPNs or well known proxies, you will have to pay a small fee. This is to prevent spammers while allowing legitimate members to post without many restrictions. Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0#post_faqP.S. This belongs in Meta, moved.

Be carefull tough... This "small" fee can sometimes be $10-$20 in USD if you're using a tor exit node to signup. That's why i mentioned that registering an account over tor is problematic.

Thank you for you explanation, but you answers raise the question: 1. This fee are token by Bitcointalk administration? 2. Account could be blocked rigth after registration or in any time? 3. It's fine if I will login through Tor, but I should not to register using Tor, is this correct?

1) i don't really understand the question (i guess neither of us both is a native english speaker). If you mean this fee is going towards the bitcointalk administrator: you are correct 2) the evil points only count during registration. Offcourse, if you break bitcointalk rules, you can also be banned afterwards. This has nothing to do with evil points. 3) this is correct... Technically, you are allowed to register over Tor, but chances are that the account will immediately be blocked untill you pay the fee. The fee differs depending on which exit node you're using, and can be low or really high (depending on which scammer used this exit node before you)

That is correct. You must have been very lucky to have used an unused exit node. But using VPN better than using TOR because sometimes tor nodes may infect your computers (specially windows) by malware or key-logger so be careful

No, well yes you can create evil points if you log in, post nonsense and get banned. There will be no evil points for an already existing account, no matter what you do, they are only for newly generated accounts.

Thanks for the explanation What will evil points affect? Trust or anything else? How to know the quantity of evil points and is there method to decrease It? Like being honest person?

Evil points determine the amount you have to pay to register an account on that IP. No, it doesn't affect Trust. The amount of Evil points are shown when you register a new account on that IP and said points slowly decay over time (although if you registered an account, you'll have to pay for the number of points of Evil the IP had on registration).

Evil points are "awarded" to IP addresses and their networks on certain (or all?) types of bans. If you create an account via an IP address that has more than a certain amount of evil points you have to pay a fee based on the number of evil points to be able to use the account. You can alternatively ask someone else to vouch for you and admins might clear the account regardless of the evil points. Theymos posted a map of evil point distribution, but AFAIK besides that you cant just look them up.

Its a one time fee and only for that account. It does not wipe the evil points on the IP.
