yup but to be fair if you are mining with GPU's now just carry on mining and swap out when they arrive - I think spring is optimistic myself and they will probably fulfil all the pre-orders by July.

Perhaps he got an email from bASIC - who have now stated that they won't be shipping until March. |

Perhaps he got an email from bASIC - who have now stated that they won't be shipping until March. Or more likely the email went something like Expect your shipment early spring.

There are a group of us who have ordered a few in the UK some ordered really early on last year some have put orders through in December and some recently. From what I gather it is first come first served so any one who ordered last year July time will get theirs first and everyone else the last ones we ordered were yesterday will get theirs in spring which could be March/April may be stretch in to June. I suspect they will end up shipping the first lot of pre-orders at the end of Jan/Feb. |

Well if it doesn't no loss I will carry on with my GPU farm I was order 15900 something that was placed over the weekend so if they are shipping in batches of 3 (read that some where not sure if it was on this forum or the BFL forum) for the pre-orders order 1 to 53XX will be shipped first then 53xx to 10XXX then the batch I am in 10xxx to 15xxx. If mine is scheduled for say April at the earliest they need to start shipping the first lot in Jan/Feb unless they delay again in which case I would probably cancel my order. Or I will probably wait until another company has regular stock and buy then. |

BTCPFGA’s bASIC, offering the 72 GH/s bASIC NextGen Bitcoin Miner for $1,069. Unfortunately, BTCFPGA has been suffering serious delays, and its projected shipping data now appears to be the second half of March.
ASICMiner, not offering any physical product, but expected to contribute at least 2.8 terahashes, and likely more, to the 23-terahash Bitcoin network.
