At the end, SUPER needs some big promotions, media focus etc. Then it could take off.  Grin
Like stock trading, all people care about is growth potential. Without it, investors leave.
A promising new development plan and wallet improvements will help a lot with that.

Explorer is now synchronizing at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/super/ though it may take a while (supercoin wallet is at 100% cpu of a 3.2 GHz core when queried over RPC)

What are your particular requirements?  This is just for research purposes.

Minimum 5% interest per year for at least 10 years.

 Cool
well. it never does go down below 5%. after 4 years it will be infinitely stuck at 5%. so as far as your requirements go it still meets them. at any time after the 4 years if coins are open to be minted then it will do so at a 5% rate.

with that being said. good number of people voted, i said i would take it as results showed and i will.

Supercoin will cap at 50 million coins and after 4 years will be forever stuck at 5% PoS

Well it looks we are having a great week for Supercoin!

1: We won this week to add Supercoin to C-cex.com https://c-cex.com/?p=super-btc

2: We now have a second block explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/super/

3: The voting for Supercoin total has been completed today!  Our amazing Dev Griffith https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=162760 will be working on the Supercoin total limit since currently there is not a limit to how much Supercoin that can be created.

4: We have new bitcointalk members showing up!

A great week for Supercoin!

I would like to ask any members to list what languages they would like to see a translation for this Supercoin forum and why.

Thanks.

Sincerely,
 Supercoin's Bitcointalk Forum Manager fuze0000 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=345403

It is showing this message:

There is no more Trusted Cryptos.
The former members have all lost their trust in Griffith.
It's a one man operation, Griffith's, and I don't believe he can do the job.

I have already spoken with Griffith about that.  I am trying to get coinmarketcap.com to update the website to the new domain that Griffith is building the website on.  I don't know what the new domain will be.  I would like it to be www.supercoin.org until we have a new website completed.   If I have personally purchased "supercoinr.com" domain for supercoin as a backup domain.  This will be plan B depending on how long it takes Griffith to finish developing the website.  Always have multiple options!

In the meantime THE OFFICIAL EMAIL FOR SUPERCOIN -----> INFO@SUPERCOINR.COM

coinmarketcap is very slow at updating information.

For example i have sent 3 request to add ccex and they haven't as of yet.

Chainz.crypto.id is still syncing Supercoin.

You're are welcome to help by sending a request as well. -----> https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1IZf5cBivam_93zENT_arFFuvWDidHGjWxoTMVmFSoWg/viewform

The more individuals that complain the faster they will fix it.

The good new is that everything in the OP, twitter page & chainz explorer page is accurate.

Team SUPERCOIN!

Thanks!

That seems like a easy fix.  We just have to send supercoins to CCEX?s supercoin wallets so individuals will buy and sell them.
Hopefully they finish syncing this weekend.

Currently CCEX is on Block: 2282888, Sup: 33382712

Btw chainz.crypto.id is still syncing Super as well.

Everyone please remember this is not a cryptocurrency launch.

This is a cryptocurrency revival!

There are a lot of old links, dead links and old info out there about Supercoin.

Unfortunately the internet keeps everything!  This is a process when rebuilding.  I am doing my best by supporting Supercoin.  Please PM if you would like to help.  If not they I will keep working with our amazing DEV Griffith to slowly but surely revival Supercoin like a PHOENIX!!!

Remember I started this revival process on FEB 3rd 2016!  I think I am working faster than most in the cryptocurrency world. You can be the judge of that.  More importantly the price of SUPER before I started was 0.00000079 btc on btcpool.exchange and now it is 0.00000431 on Yobit. We are at page 25 on this forum currently.  Not bad for 23 days later.

Not really good PR :-)

a little background on that website message and just my time in crypto in general.

So there was a group that consisted of 6 or 7 people originally and they worked only on MWC coin (2 other "devs" and 4 - 5 PR people).

i was the third dev to be added since i was solo on the ECC project (solo coding wise) and i was new to crypto and was looking for people to work with.

the 6 other people were already in the group when i joined so i was originally an assistant dev. the original lead dev turned out to not actually be doing anything but instead was causing hype for MWC so the price went 5x then he dumped and disappeared then news got out about it and MWC price crashed. one of the PR people left at this time as well (i forgot his name). so now the group is down to me, one other dev, and 4 PR people. the other dev that was me left without a word one week (or atleast i never knew a reason) and i guess he left the crypto scene completely. not really sure.

so now its just me that can code. and the next thing we had planned on working on was a wallet that can handle multiple coins. which took me forever to make by myself since i based it off a current wallet which has a TON of components that can only be used with 1 coin and had to be completely rewritten. like main.cpp had to be completely removed and redone.

that took too long so everyone else left and the trustedcryptos group dissolved. it was only me coding and we couldnt really find another provably competent dev who wanted to join in.

oh, also super got taken over at somepoint during that time.

so here we are. doing a revival on super since everything had gone quiet for a while. the multiple coin wallet is done function-wise but needs gui work and i need to now make a new website to host everything since i didnt actually own the trustedcryptos website. thats why that message is up.

ill probably finish website stuff tonight. hopefully. since im just going to work on that.

i also really need to take a poll (via PM) on who is still interested in MWC and or ECC

id also like to say that making that multiwallet was a hugeee tease. i had so many times i would get to a point and think i was almost done. and oneee thing would be off. and it would turn out i would have to rewrite a whole large section of code to fix that one little thing

The great thing about Griffith is the fact that our Dev has experience with coding at least 3 different crpytocurrencies.

Hi folks,

If you want it to be faster,

Here is a bootstrap service for PoS coins. Still under Construction but an updated supercoin bootstrap is already there.  Smiley
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378653.msg14024451#msg14024451

You will need a program that can uncompress rar files to access the bootstrap.dat file.
example:  http://rarlabs.com/download.htm

Bootstraps can be downloaded from the Blockchain Folder at https://mega.nz/#F!CJRnyDDL!vbYN-3mvj9RBE7Phl27Sjg
After going to the Mega link above, Click on your coin and then right click on it and select Standard Download
