The PoW/PoS coin never fully sync'd with Bitcoin or Litecoin. All PoS coins are based on novacoin, the latest I think is with protocol version = 70049 and database version = 80609. The current SUPER codebase is way old, it has protocol version 60013 (I think) and database version 70508. As I said, numerous bugs are fixed there.

All PoS coins are actually based around Peercoin (which has been updated to 0.6 codebase); with Novacoin being an older clone which is still late 0.5 codebase. Novacoins latest protocol being 60018 and database 70507.

Supercoin is currently at protocol 60013 and database 70508.

Seeing as you're quite insightful, with an eye for detail, i'd be more than happy to merge some newer code in there; provided the bugs that the code fixes are deemed a serious-enough issue.

lmao, when I tested the supersend with supercoindev and others, I don't know where you were. So apparently you are SUPER dev now, do you understand the code? do you know what are not implemented?

Supercoindev implemented the "normal" scenario for supersend, but there are 3-4 exception conditions he did not implement. When we tested it, about 10% cases there are some exception conditions (such as mixer unexpectedly quit), in which case the supersend may be stuck (that guarantor should sign off the transaction depends on the cases). He was planning to implement them, but unfortunately he was too busy with his work so he decided to quit. Also he was pissed by the fact that many inferior coins put a lot of people to promote, such that these coins have much more people despite have nothing new. The supercoin has some truly new technologies.

Anyway, if you are good, fix these problems and make Supercoin better

I hear what you're saying, if you know of (or find posts from the past) any variables/conditions that the behaviour has been noted to occur under; i'd be more than happy to investigate.

From everyone's point of view so far, they just see revised front end design.. theres a bit more going on now, not just a nip and tuck, and this will be shown once I upload the codebase to gihub (hats off to CryptoJohn though, simply awesome designs).

Well, take a look at the workflow, in the first post of this thread. In case the erroneous conditions occur, look at the flow diagram with red arrows, when sender does not satisfy with mixer's tx, he can request guarantor to cancel the transaction. This is shown in diagram in red arrows as 7b, 7c etc. These flows are not implemented in the code if I remember it correct. Check the code and fix them (there are many other exception conditions need to be fixed). Have fun.

Hi all,

I'll be releasing SuperCoin+ this Saturday (or possibly later tonight).

Everything is ready to roll.
There are a few things I haven't added yet (new improved graphics from CryptoJohn); but the 90 second PoS, crosschain sends and gui update is complete.

I lost my original 'Crosschain' RPC bolton with my disk drive crash; however, i've nearly finished a standalone win32 app which will assist in sending funds from SuperCoin to a SuperCoin+ address.

The funds seen in the first picture, form the 'pool' of funds that the Crosssend occurs from.
Sending 1000 SUPER from the old wallet to the new chain is as simple as converting the destination address (of SuperCoinPlus), to a SuperCoin compatible format using the tool, then creating a special send from SuperCoin itself.

Then once committed to a block, your funds will show up in SuperCoinPlus.

cheers.. it will keep going as long as there are nodes about; i run one permanently on amazon, so should be for a while yet. ideally though, i'd like to transition majority of the funds between chains and then let supercoinplus run on its new lighter chain (initial goal with my involvement), but there is no end date in sight.

Have just found Amazon shut down both my Super/Supercoinplus nodes in the midst of a rental disagreement (not to mention my Bitcoin node, as well as practically everything else). You may have noticed the main reliable node thats been around for the past few months, has disappeared.
Not an issue; as Linode are fantastic, however for the Crosschain sends to work (good luck coding something like that proinvestor), I need to stand up a SuperCoin node with -txindex and block explorer which takes literally a week on its own.
Does someone have a copy of the blockchain already indexed this way handy?
Or is this going to be an extra long week
