Somebody is slowly eating that wall at 0.00000499.
Interesting.

It could be a good move; the coin is still priced low because it's under most peoples' radar - so anyone planning to get on board would see now as a good time to pick some up.

It's also noteworthy that they're being picked up slowly and steadily. This matches the profile of someone who's acquiring them for the long haul at the best price, rather than buying in a huge chunk and sending the price skyward (where they'd only pay more for them).

It's a proven coin, it's staking well, the network is robust and the anonymous payment system is best in class. Also, as well as the staking returns, it's my understanding that the anonymous payment method distributes the fee for the transaction amongst those who act as the intermediaries - so that's another income stream for doing nothing but having your wallet staking and handling anonymous transactions.

Buying in at these prices whilst people are looking elsewhere makes sense if you want to acquire them cheap and then hold them for a reliable residual income.

Supercoin will cap at 50 million coins and after 4 years will be forever stuck at 5% PoS

Moneysupply is now 45,511,318+ so we're almost at 50M.
If you want to take advantage of the high PoS, there's still time...

My wallet seems to be stuck syncing at block 4425744 (17th Oct 2017 18:50:20). How should I go about fixing this as I have left it alone for 1 day and it hasn't synced any further?

A tip is more than welcome if this post was helpful to you Smiley

Whatever you do, make sure you have a backup of your wallet.dat!

Next you coul remove the supercoin folder from hd and run the supercoin executable like you normally would.
That way you'll start with a new wallet.
Then you let it synchronize (may take a long time unless you have a block backup)

After it synced, close the application, replace the empty wallet.dat file with your old one and start supercoin again

TY, trying it now. Once I have re-synced is there a way I can get rid of all of the orphaned PoS blocks from my wallet?

I also have that problem sometimes, i think because there are some 'old' wallets online using an outdated version.
When i set maxconnections=2 (or 3) in my .conf file, the wallet will connect to this max number of wallets and this
works often (probably because my wallet doesn't connect to the old wallets then).
I'm not sure about that but it works.

Instead of syncing from zero (which will take a while) you can do some restarts of your wallet.

There's a snapshot of the blockchain on the Supercoin website ( www.supercoin.nl ) in the downloads section. It was taken today so it will bring you pretty much up to date. It's a big file and will take a while to extract.

It's very handy for those who've just downloaded the wallet and don't want to wait three days for it to sync before they can get involved.

Supercoin is doing very well at the moment.

https://www.coinexchange.io/market/SUPER/BTC

It's the 8th most traded coin in the BTC markets (more popular than Bitcoin Cash) and is by far the best performing.

Nice to see that SUPER is doing so well.
I think SUPER is much underrated but the signals are positive.

Some pumping has been seen.
Also some dumping.
Fluctuations all the way.
Yes, even at this values is underrated.

It looks some people want to have a Supercoin as a long-term investment.

That's what attracted me to it in the first place a couple of years ago. It was, and still is, undervalued considering a) the utility of the coin and b) the residual income it can provide.

Lol: SuperPupercoin  Cheesy

It's time to jump out of this coin while the pump is in full swing. Best to invest the income in a normal POS coins with a good income

Im happy that I found this thread. Seems like a good opportunity with a well thought-through concept. I will do some more research on this coin and then hopefully get in. Can somebody tell me when supercoin was initiated in the first place? As now its the "revival", it must be an old concept. Share your wisdom with me!
