What does everybody think of Peercoin these days?

Will cold storage minting come this year?

Honestly, I was under the impression that Peercoin was pretty much done. It's rallying a bit but I don't think more people are adopting it. It's a pity because Peercoin had some cool ideas.

Peercoin has its V0.5 update coming out in a couple of weeks time. This will have security updates and allows for data transactions on the blockchain. Sadly cold minting wont come until V0.6 which is still some time away. Regardless of this peercoin dev posts updates every week and the code is actively maintained. I think peercoin is a solid coin that could make it one day.

Cold storage minting? Look at Multicurrency platform:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1170055

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1254683.0

It allows cold storage minting to any coin it is applied to. This is one of the many features of MC application.

NuBits. PPC is related, so yes solid. Might pump up just for the Custodians to realize some cash for their effords.
Just for comparisons, LTC has nothing going for it.
