why did we close?
believe it or not, this was not intentional, we wanted to continue this, we spent over 20 BTC
from our own pockets to create bitcoins.work and to advertise it and sustain it. we went week
without sleeping to support every participant. So why closed? many of you probably noticed that
at some points you got more than 1 payment an hour. Some even got 5 payments in a row at single hour.
And this bug was in our system due to too many payments to handle every second so the system got confused
and paid out few times more. We noticed this error 3 days ago, and we were able to limit it, by changing a bit how
the payments are sent out. But at some points we lost over 7 BTC in 1 hour due to this. We still tried to manage it and stay open.
As for recently the pressure from community started to build up and more and more support was under pressure to handle everything.
We tried to fix this, but payouts delayed, we were in maintnance, we had 2 heavy layer 7 attacks against our server that we survived,
but with all this, trust was lost no matter how hard we tried. And this project cant go on if there are no more new members joining.
And because of all this, new members would just stay away and old ones would wait for payout and never come back.
