Valve won't let Steam have bitcoin purchases because their policy for returning money back will make them incur losses dealing with fees and payment processing companies. The Arkham Knight debacle called for so many refunds that I am not sure Steam could handle bitcoins refunds like ever lol.

well if they didnt use bitcoin for pre-orders and game deliveries (where issues could occur) but instead for ingame 'fancies' like gold, bullets, vehicles.. where once they are bought the customer has to keep. there would be no issue

This could work but I think the easiest solution to this is just allowing people to buy Steam gift cards with bitcoins to do whatever they want so in case of unsatisfied customers Steam will just return the amount to their Steam wallet no issues there.

These are great news. This may decide me to finally play to World of Tanks if some bonuses are proposed cheaply to people wiling to pay in bitcoins.

Seems to be the best way to sprout the next wave with steady movement moving through the chain.
Porn never took off like expected and gambling seems to be luke warm to adapting at best.
If we could get sites like chess.com and other game based sites to come over we could push things farther down the road.

Should be on these app builders to take bitcoin more as well, the more we pressure the more they feel a void needs to be filled.

so since this place is becoming a war of ignoring button and deleting comment, i'm creating my own thread on this, without the self moderated crap, because this news actually interest me

this is the news https://blog.bitpay.com/bitcoin-comes-to-online-multiplayer-gaming-giant-wargaming/, they have also acquired the total annihilation IP, which means that TA 2 is on the way with Chris taylor
As far as i know g2a also accepts bitcoin as a payment method to buy games there, if i'm wrong correct me someone.
