If you have the skill, of course Skill-based games are profitable. But Lucky-based games can be more profitable, cuz when you win you will earn a lot. But in skill based games, you will a small long term profit. Depends on your skill, if you have a nice skill then you could earn a big long term profit.

Yeah, mostly skill based games only pay what you bet, and needs extra effort and time, but in luck based, you just rely on your luck and wait til you profit from small bet and multiply it til X.

for long term i choose lucky based game. although we can use skill but we still need luck too especially in gambling , if someone can use skill for long term , there will be no gambling site which still open.

It really depends. If you play a game of skill but you have no skill, you'll lose. If you play a game of luck and you have no luck, you'll lose. However, if you play a luck based game and at that certain time you have luck, you'll make a lot of profit.

However, I think that skill based games are more profitable in the long term, as skill is obtainable through practice while luck is not.

But you really need enough experience to have that kind of skill though. There is no way for some usual people to have low experience to play on skill based game. Profitable in luck based games? If you want to make guaranteed money on the long run, play skill based games like poker and train it before bidding big bets. Skill takes time to develop.
If you want to try to make some profit in a small time frame, play pure luck based games like dice. I'd rather gamble big at once than rolling it 100 times a minute and lose everything that way.

Other than that, if you want to make big money with only a small investment, go buy yourself one or two lottery tickets. This requires more luck, but if you're lucky - you win big

Well it depends actually, a skill-based games will be good only for skilled people , not for normal gamblers and a luck-based game will be good for both skilled and normal gamblers. But personally, I think luck-based games will be more profitable because it was easy to win, unlike on skilled-games like poker, you will need skills and experience which I don't have But for a professional gambler, such skilled-based games were perfect for them since they can manage how to get profit easily with less chances of losing

those pro don't suddenly become pro, they used to be normal gamblers with no skill and exp like u now. not play skill based games just because lack of skill and exp is not right. jump in that poll, get the skill and exp, become pro, that's it.

IF the question really is about being profitable you only have a chance in sports wagering and poker.  With sports wagering you can use the advice of professionals and if you manage your bankroll you shouldn't lose over time.  Poker requires more developing your individual skill.  If you want to be profitable stick to sports, manage your roll and utilize the great advice on the Internet including my picks.

obviously any kind of game that is based on skills will automatically give the player a better chance (of course this is only if the player has the necessary skills for the game) in comparison with the luck-based games.

but the profit in gambling is dependent on luck in the end of it all. so if you are lucky you can win in other games and not with skills but bad luck!

I would go for the luck based games. I don't have time to practice a lot and develop my skills in poker or to gather all the necessary info for sports betting.
And of course if I lose in luck based game I don't need to blame myself but if I lose in poker agains a weaker player, I won't take it so easy

I totally agree with your opinion , basically gamble = a game against luck but gamble on games with skill based would give anyone better chance than gamble on 100 % lucky based games.
But it's still lucky would be part of gamble the difference only on how much lucky percentage take an effect to our winning.

of course all of it is because of having fun. but there will be no fun if you keep losing in a completely luck based game and lose money all the time.

the joy becomes more if you use your skills to win money.

but there maybe some people who want to get their income by gambling rather than investing into something else. no one knows how many but certainly there. that is why they want to analyze what is more important between need skill or luck in gambling.
