Banning my sockpuppet for cleaning the digital goods section

Okay guys now you are really kidding me... i used a sockpuppet "letmesee" to ask sellers in the digital goods section if the accounts they sell are cracked. after they confirmed it i reported the threads. this morning i got a ton of messages about deleted threads and my sock is banned while all threads selling cracked accounts are still there.

I searched for your mentioned account ("letmesee") in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sa=search and the only username that pops seems to be is "letmeseeppc" and as far as I can't tell, there is no ban issued as I would see it if it was. The account I found seems to have been innactive for over 2 years and only used for 12 minutes (at least according to the stats on the profile page).

Ah, Bitcointalk's search must've not included it. In that case, I'd have to agree that said posts, although made with good intentions, are the definition of low quality due to them being short, same in meaning and posted on numerous topics. The account was probably nuked (IP ban, account ban and all posts deleted for a newbie account) so I have no clue as to who did it.

Ah, Bitcointalk's search must've not included it. In that case, I'd have to agree that said posts, although made with good intentions, are the definition of low quality due to them being short, same in meaning and posted on numerous topics. yeah sorry i forgot about the typo. i agree post quality is very loooooow. its because all i use the account for is posting on simple question to sellers like: "are those accounts cracked" or "are those carded". if say post "yes" i head over to my main account (this one) and report them. i cant write poems for the sellers just to find out they selling cracked or carded stuff. if you look how my accuracy went up again, since i stoped reporting msdn threads, it proofs this method works.

as some of the staff dont agree on acc gens basicly having cracked accounts or netflix for 3$ not being somehow obtained legal, there is no other way for me to find out if accounts are cracked or not if the op doesnt admit it right away.

as i got mails about deleted posts, someone took the time to delete all the posts and just banned the account.

As above. It was reported by someone as spam as all the posts were just 'are these accounts hacked' copy and pasted over and over. Looked just like an account farmer who goes through digital goods spamming for vouches or asking 'are these legit' etc so I nuked it.

like i said, i agree on the quality. in order to find out if accounts are cracked i have to ask this question, without a refference my reports will be ignored as there is no proof. i dont say staff forced me to act so, but its the only way to find out if accs are cracked or not, without getting my main account nuked.

as long as staff doesnt agree with me that acc gens are per se cracked it is what i have to do. as you see, i was told find a proof and i did it like i was told. also i dont post this in every thread, i only target the obvious ones. that acc has no other purpose.

yeah that will be the next step, so i have to report the PMs. i dont care about a good report statistic, i just want to deal with this stuff quick. Problem of reporting PMs i have to select one special "admin" or the whole administration, while i see my issue better addressed in staff hands. as far as i understand reports can be picked by everyone of the staff, i might be wrong on that one.

I think if you make report in digital goods it will go to digital goods moderators (malevolent, Cyrus, hilariousandco)

If one of your accounts is banned then you should not post outside of meta except for the purpose of appealing your accounts. The same is true for sending PM's, you should not send any PM's except to appeal your ban.

If you want to report something being sold that is illegal, or otherwise against the rules of the forum, then you should use the report to moderator button, not make a large volume of low quality posts.

In order to report an illegal activity like selling cracked accounts i had to ask the seller if the accounts are cracked. What do suggest to do instead of posting: "are those accounts cracked" i reported more than 40 threads with proof by doing so. I dont say i dont understand why the acc was nuked. Again Report for spam insta ban, reporting illegal activities no action. This doesnt add up.

What's stopping other account sellers / farmers from doing what you did? It would be hard to tell the intentions of the poster.

The thread is removed with the confirmation, thus the post is as well and as such its not a valid method to gain activity / posts. Assuming there is a confirmation (obviously).

Using my main account is not a ban evasion, i got feedback on this. Also i found a workaround to deal with the situation.

the hunt is still ongoing... i dont care if this takes forever.
