I was just curious as to what wallets people use and how they keep their coins safe. I use Blockchain.info on my tablet. I don't keep my savings in that wallet due to security issues. On my PC and my Max I use Bitcoin Core. You may have to wait for blockchain to sync but it's way more secure. What are your preferences?

Paper wallet generated with offline application and 2 part priv key for all my hodl needs. As of a hotwallet, I actually use several applications. I have multibit 0.5.19 installed but don't hold any BTC there and only use it when in need of signing a message, Uphold to store BTC as USD, some bitcoins in Xapo for BTC payments and finally I store a small amount of BTC in Bit-X for my debit card.

I'm using Copay with a Ledger HW.1. A standard Copay wallet for my hot wallet and a multi-sig 2 of 3 using the Ledger as one of the co-signers.

Well I do have to remark that using different wallets do different things. I never printed a paper wallet before, but sure is s hell of a lot better than leaving your BTC in a hot wallet.

i'm using electrum and multibit HD on my PC, coinbase as online wallet. And mycelium wallet on my android.
Among these, my frequent transaction would be from/to my coinbase and mycelium wallets.

Rarely touch blockchain anymore and use mycelium for quick transfers p2p or atm. Looking into other options as I think I should be a little more savy down the road when I get a little more invested in bitcoin.
Will check out some of the options in this thread, have stayed away from core due to buying a new laptop soon and not wanting to add anything to the current garbage heap I call a computer.

I have all my coins in my personal cold storage, addresses created with libbitcoin's `bx` command, stored on encrypted USB drive, and import addresses as needed into either electrum or bitcoind, mycelium for mobile. I would never trust any site or third party to hold onto my coins for more than a few hours at a time, like for trading or purchasing.

i hate it when bitcoin core sync for almost forever. i tried to install it on my laptop since i like to have my coins there and that i can bring my laptop to some remote areas. but its such a pain waiting for the sync to be done.
i have a multibithd on my laptop instead, it still sync but not really that long like how bitcoin core would.

Out of the wallets mentioned, which ones are known to have glitches in sending bitcoin right away? When using a mobile account I do not want to be hanging and usually place coin in multiple accounts just in case one hangs. But I only cash out usually from a atm and have yet to make a sale otherwise.

Until i get a new HDD i can't run a bitcoin core wallet ( yes im running out of space ), with is the one i would like to use, until then i think that multibit HD will be my current one, easy to use, very secure and really faster.

I use Electrum and blockchain.info. Blockchain.info is so that I can access my BTC where ever I go since it's a web wallet. I use Electrum on my laptop because it's a SPV wallet so you don't have to sync the blockchain which is annoying. It's easy to use and great! Might try using MultiBit HD sometime soon.

I use Electrum for when I'm at home, Mycellum for on the go, and Armory on a ColdPi on the rare occasion that I'm holding a decent amount. I use a Yubikey for protection on Electrum and feel pretty safe with it, so I honestly may put the rPi to better use somehow soon..
