sorry if this in wrong spot.

well I am very new to bitcoins about 2 months.
but I am wondering and sorry if I should do more researche on it.
but how do the payments work.

example is if I send 0.001 the fees are 0.00001 does it go up 10k every 0.001 or how is it calculated.
also wondering why sometimes I send coins they confirm in minutes some take hours.

A little correction regarding the fee as you said 0.00001 but it's always 0.0001 and up if you use standard fee with blockchain.info wallets. I would advise to not compute yourself for each transaction that how much you should send and just use the standard fee that comes with it so you would save yourself some times. Sometimes the network could be under attack and that could be one of the reasons it could get confirmed in delay.
