I don't think this gives us good proof... They could have already implement it ages ago. Anyways, they're still on time

About time to start seeing big gaming corporations adopting cryptocurrencies.
This was bound to happen sooner or later, and it might well be a golden pot for the gaming industry.

Yay! I knew this day would come! So far, I haven't heard any official words from Valve, but I'll admit that the new translations are promising.  Smiley

Transactions are processed with BitPay, so I'm assuming the coins will be converted to fiat instantly. That's besides the point; as long as I can pay in bitcoin, I don't care what they do with the coins I pay them.

At the very least, it'll show Bitcoin to a whole new audience and legitimize it. Positive exposure it what bitcoin needs!

I want to see proper sources for this, otherwise this is just another load of paypal style "Valve likes bitcoin!" articles for clickbait.

Fingers crossed this comes to fruition. Lord knows we could really do with something significant to make the price go up.

one should remember that who provide the possibility of using bitcoin is only doing the 50% of the work to help adoption

if none then, use bitcoin to buy stuff(game in this case) from them, it mean that it was pointless, so let's wait an see the actual usage before saying "horay"

I was so excited I had to go check it out for myself but being in Europe there was of course no Bitcoin option there as expected haha. Looking forward to having this available asap.

This news make me very excited! I'm always hoping such things happen: every new company accepting bitcoin is a big step towards mainstream.

I just had a friend check his US Steam account for that under payment info but he said it wasn't there. Perhaps this screenshot is a leak and it's not live yet in the USA.
