Is any logo suitable to be used for a dice casino?

ChartDice is coming soon! Let's not talk about that it's only weeks away. At this time, staff of ChartDice is looking for a new logo! With expectations for our new website set high, our logo is right up there as well. Quality is what we like.

So far we have 2 concepts. Which do you like better? Please let us know. We encourage you to post your honest comments about these logos, but respect is also preferred . Go ahead and take a look:

Well, depends. The logo should typically mirror the website, and without knowing what your website's concept and design is, I/we can't really tell you which logo looks best.

Personally, with no background knowledge, the second one looks pretty appealing; but again, we kinda need more details.

Awesome! Just what I wanted to hear . Right now I'd love to be able to show off our new design set in place. It's being worked on as I speak but that's going to have to wait . I'm not looking for correlation to the site, rather than general appeal.

IMHO both needs a lot of improvement and it would be the better choice to run a contest and let designer do the work and you to choose among the entries. Base on the current logo design, they don't look professional at all and when your trying to present a site, professionalism is important and I can't really see any on these two logos plus while running a contest, you sort of advertise your site as well so it could be a plus on that matter. Would advise to wait for the design/UI of your site to be final, then run a contest and hope something great comes out.

I vote for the 2nd one as the main point for your Casino is the dice itself, not the chart
Unless the main point for your casino is the Chart itself
Or maybe try to combine both of the logo and see if it turns out to be a better logo
But in the end i loved both of them, it's simple and elegant in my eyes

I vote for number 2 too, the reason number 2 are better than number 1 are the number 2 logo clearly describes a game of dice with chart as a theme of the casino.
Not like the number 1 which more likely to a chart of dice not a casino.
But still I think the number 2 there is something missing I don't know what it is, maybe a little touch to re-design the logo would answer this.

Both logo looks like a logo made from one of those logo generatorthat you can search on google. IMO if you are making a logo for a business like your gambling site, it's best if your logo is more an original and not something you can easily find anywhere. Also use a HQ logo. For me, the logo is a very important part of a website or a service. It's like a book cover that gives impression to what you will expect to see o the service.

I suggest you hire someone who is really a professional in logo making. You can find them in the service section.

if I had to choose between the only two logos, I would choose the second (green) one.

the first one (red) is a nice logo but I feel like it is not representing a dice site clearly. it is just a C which would be good if chartdice was a massively popular site.

the second one is better especially because of the green background and the dice image in the logo it is clearer what the logo is about.

i think that both of logo is too usual and you need more colorful logo if you want to look more attractive but if i had to choose number 2 is more better than number 1 logo

From those two choices, good decision. But like the others have been saying, you may want to bump it up a notch later on.

Also, out of curiosity, is your design available for previewing?

I don't know but i feel something's missing here 
The logo is too empty for me somehow
Maybe add something ?
Also Maybe Bigger Font would help
or color the font a yellow gold one and see if it works

The use of green and blue colors at same place doesn't looks great. You can try using something like harder version of the green one so whole site looks made on same category of color
And don't put background of any space or any other image which are copyrighted. Try to put some sort of design but a unique one

Green color is not commonly used on Betting website as it looks really ugly 
I would recommend to try dark red combined with black background (remove that space background )
though,i love the layout of the website itself
Good job on the layout, try harder on the color selection

I voted the second one, i represents more a dice game, but if the logo will be as large as the image think about another background colour. If its an small logo, background colour could good, but on large image i think that will be better to change it.
