Hi, I have some btc and want to buy some alt coins. I would like to know which is the best for a long term investment? By long term I mean when the btc price shoots up (like 2013) then I would sell the alt coins because their price would also increase significantly. For example litecoin price rised massively when btc shot up to over 1000usd. Should I invest in lite coin? I'm not thinking of a massive investment - only probably around $150

I sometimes think about the same problem.
Mostly i change my altcoins for BTC.
I think that is the most sure for the future.
I have also some LTC and DOGE. These 2 coins are a little bit sure for the future i think (i hope).
From time to time i buy some altcoins on an exchange, but never keep them for a long period, because there are not much of them that the price keeps going up.
I will follow your topic and hope to get as well some good advice from some others.

ETH and GULDEN are indeed perhaps two coins for the long future.
You see a lot of topics about these coins here on the forum.
I think it is always good to choose a coin you a lot of articles, publicity, faucets, topics about.

ETH is the only real innovative alternative with incredible potential. Price could be 10x, 20x by the end of the year. It's like buying BTC when it was $5.

pitty, that your really late for eth.
LTC? hm... don't know, if they really come back. I guess in the middle of the year we have a surge on btc because of the halving.
short term you won't make "much" with 150 anyway. you can get maybe maximum 1000 if your REALLY lucky. But that is like a casino bet anyway.

Do your own research and don't listen to anyone else. All you'll get in here is people hyping their own or pet coins.

But why LTC? It's 2016 and LTC doesn't offer anything at all. I still can't understand why it's not long forgotten.

A few months back I was going to buy ether but a lot of people were saying it was a ponzi scam so I didn't buy any.

Good thinking.

Dont be fooled by fake volume and price. It is traded on 2 scammy exchanges. They aren't even that well known, obscure exchanges.

Nobody cares for Ether.

It has no liquidity. If someone tries to sell $10,000 worth of Ether, price will plummet 30% at least immediately. Just like the last time it dropped from $4 to $0.75. LOL!

You are literally full of crap. Yesterday there was a 300+btc dump on ETH all within a minute, and there was no price movement. Im not suggesting anyone buy into eth, because the market is SUPER unstable, but for pete's sake, at least be accurate.

If insiders are buying from themselves, then you can draw absolutely no conclusions from that data.

If you are not an insider and you try to sell 300 BTC of ETH, then you have data that is useful.

Who has sold ETH in large volume here?
