Accredited Investor in the USA needs to have one of the following:

1) earn an individual income of more than $200,000 per year, or a joint income of $300,000, in each of the last two years and expect to reasonably maintain the same level of income.

2) have a net worth exceeding $1 million, either individually or jointly with his or her spouse.

3) be a general partner, executive officer, director or a related combination thereof for the issuer of a security being offered.

*net worth needs to be over 1 million EXCLUDING primary residence (your home's valuation does not count towards that number).

I have no idea what am I gonna do with all that money.
I'm not a materialistic nor a consumerist person.
Maybe a trip, I always wanted to travel.
You guys should think about it before getting too much money that fast.
Become a VC, fund startups which build on iota ecosystem  Roll Eyes
You need at least 1 millions USD on a American Bank account to become a VC.
Bitcoins doesn't count. I asked VCs about it.
Turn BTC into USD > Invest into start-ups. I don't remember the requirement to invest into start-ups in the US, but I am quite confident it's nowhere near 1 million USD. It's *very* common that start-ups loan/get their angel funds from an uncle or friend who just happen to have some excess money.

I got that reply from FundersClub:

Hi xxx,

Thank you for reaching out! An accredited investor is defined under rules set by US Securities and Exchange Commission. Currently, it seems that $1M USD in Bitcoin is not considered to be a qualification that meets the net worth requirement to be an accredited investor. You can read the specific qualifications under the net worth test here: http://www.investor.gov/news-alerts/investor-bulletins/investor-bulletin-accredited-investors. Please scroll down to see the Accredited Investor Table. I have also included information from the site below:

According to the SEC, to qualify as an accredited investor under the net worth test, you must have a net worth that exceeds $1 million, either alone or with a spouse. If calculating joint net worth with a spouse, it is not necessary that property be held jointly. Calculating net worth involves adding up all your assets and subtracting all your liabilities. The resulting sum is your net worth. The value of your primary residence is not included in your net worth calculation. In addition, any mortgage or other loan on the residence does not count as a liability up to the fair market value of the residence. If the loan is for more than the fair market value of the residence (i.e., if your mortgage is underwater), then the loan amount that is over the fair market value counts as a liability under the net worth test.

Further, any increase in the loan amount in the 60 days prior to your purchase of the securities (even if the loan amount does not exceed the value of the residence) will count as a liability as well. The reason for this is to prevent net worth from being artificially inflated through converting home equity into cash or other assets.

As I mentioned, I would take a look at the accredited investor table and reach out to confirm this information with the SEC at 1-800-732-0330. I hope this is helpful and please do not hesitate to reach out with any additional questions you may have!

Best,
Sile

PS : I don't have 1 million USD worth of bitcoins, I was just asking questions about it to VCs.

I'll look more into it later I guess.

In order to warm up my IOTA Gateway and to promote Nxt Asset Exchande I decided to sell up to 1M IOTAs from my personal IOTA stake (genesis address DIZTZYHHHKSYRRAHHCMPXPEKCCZRGFGJBECMVAIH9VQKH9RKAYDEJIWEHPVLRLXQBYZVFPLRVW9NPRD PI).

I will send asset 1000IOTAs to Nxt AE in bunches of 100k IOTA (100 1000IOTAs), starting @  1.75 NXT/IOTA ( 1750 NXT/1000IOTAs ).
EDIT: 1st bunch sold out, the nxt 100k IOTA bunch (100 1000IOTAs assets) will be at 1.8 NXT/IOTA ( 1800 NXT/1000IOTAs ).

IOTA Gateway
to the Nxt decentralized Asset Exchange (AE)

IOTA Gateway address: WZRQX... to be specified later
Asset Name:                  1000IOTAs
Asset ID:                       6142450902338776418
Each one asset represents 1000 (one thousand) IOTA coins.

To buy some IOTA coins (1000IOTAs assets) just click one of this public Nxt nodes (more @ peerexplorer - just click on ip address of node running v.1.7.5 and having open api and in the bottom you'll find "Open wallet GUI"):

Very soon my escrow service will close. It'll be pity if the guy doesn't find a buyer for such big chunk. Let's split it up to 10 accounts.
