Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Thanks a lot, I'll get it next time a shitty capitalist wants to explain me that freedom of market is the only way out and "is good for concurrence" AH!

Be interesting to watch a timeline for these banks coming together. As bad as this looks, you see it happening in many areas.
Either you grow and buyout competition or they buy you out. Think its a big issue.

It's funny how different that looks compared to UK.
Many banks are now surviving well in the UK and are separating after joining a few decades ago (due to EU law, there is a certain number of branches that one company can have).
Be a good thing to watch/invest in (share wise) at this stage considering the number of banks hat are left.

Yeh this is not different for other industry's
The big companies got the most profit so they can take over the smaller concurrents.
And in the end they have monopoly, it's the same in the Food industry:

As you can see in this image there are like 10 big companies that own all of the food products we buy!

And after that some assholes will still come by explaining that you just have to "work hard and try enough" because freedom of market is "the greatest possible thing" yeah for sure I'll take the freedom to burn you alive yeah!

This is a normal market behavior, which can be observed in many areas, not just in the banking sector. Initially anyone can start a business, but with the passage of time, appear laws and barriers hindering the entry or maintenance in that particular market.

Which is why governments should take those things into account and get them against the wall!

Lol...like banks are part of the free market.

Try opening a new bank without selling your soul to the government and the Federal Reserve, tell me how that goes.

First seastead company actually selling sea homes: Ocean Builders https://ocean.builders  Of course we accept bitcoin.
