The masternodes will be activated at block 1,087,500, we are currently at block 1,085,422, so we expect it to happen at day 30 from month.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to buy as much as I wanted before the price started climbing either. But I got enough for 2 MNs. Can't wait for the fork!

Wednesday Sept 27th Terracoin Quick Update

A quick update on what is going on.

The blocks have been coming in a little over 2 minutes each so the hard fork will happen on the 30th.  Same block, (1,087,500) just a different time.  I will be awake and ready whenever it happens.

We have 179 active masternodes on the mainnet already and we haven't even hard forked over yet! 

We had a couple of users create guides to help people set up masternodes, so check them out.  Please donate to their TRC addresses if you find them useful!

Just to be safe I would start to pull your TRC off of CoinGather and TradeSatoshi.  Once the hard fork hits your TRC will be lost if you try to send or receive TRC to either of those exchanges until they update their wallets.  I am sure they will update them at some point, but it is better to be safe then sorry!

Monday we will start to actively badgering Bittrex to add TRC to their exchange.

Great to see that Terracoin is still around (I remember it will Feather coin and namecoin back in 2013) and that is it's being updated and moved to POS and masternode sent up so is the minimium for a masternode 100k?

It could be set up on a raspberry pi, but I wouldn't know how to do it, and I don't have one to test it out.  So yes?  I know some people on the Telegram group really want to set it up on Rasberry pi.  Maybe one of them got it going.

Also I wish to thank you much for the newsletter.
I like much the guides to set up masternode...
I will set up mine within 48h then As I understand arround the 30 I will start to collect some TRC, after block 1,087,500
How value... if we have say 400 masternodes, each masternode shoud get about 50usd (at current price), per month...
If market cap continues to grow, it's very value to invest now....
And maybe soon bittrex, I don t see how such serious project can't grow MUCH...
But we have time.... we are already well rewarded...!

Bittrex doesn't really add new coins right now and they want some good reason, but I guess with the growing competition they have no choice to be more active soon. And their new partnership with Korea opens up a whole new market, so if you make it to Bittrex, boom.
