[ANN] Terracoin (TRC) - Est 2012

Hi all.

Been having a bit of a problem starting my masternode.  The masternode ran fine with sentinel for 6 months and then I started getting this:

in sentinel's logs.  Have tried *everything* I know to get it working to no avail. (I have latest windows binaries)

Things I have tried:

Re-download blockchain into new directory and update paths.
Restart masternode.  At first it is pre_enabled then watchdog or expired.
Triple check terracoin.conf and masternode.conf for errors.  This was a fully functioning masternode until 4/19 then nada but checked anyway.

Any ideas?  (continues to pull out hair)

It going watchdog for a brief period is normal when you first start it.  Sentinel only runs every 10 minutes so it shouldn't last longer then 10 minutes.  Not sure about the other errors since I haven't seen that before.  Can you join our mattermost server?  It is easier to do support on there.  https://mattermost.terracoin.io/signup_user_complete/?id=ohowtejzq3br7kp66qe466b8my

Sentinel is in fact stating that it is running fine and the issue is with the masternode itself (funds moved out, genkey reused, etc) .. Like clockuniverse suggested, join mattermost for further diagnosis and help for which commands to utilize in order to nail down your issue as we can help you live there.

Edit: Specifically this: KeyError: 'Invalid Masternode Status, cannot continue.' states the issue is with the masternode, not sentinel

Seems so.  This is/was a problem with dash too.

Apparently if you are behind a NAT, the masternode can't "talk" to itself to verify the external IP.  I had to add my external IP as an alias in windows.

I am not sure who you are replying to, but I agree with what you are saying.  I think The Terracoin Foundation has proven over and over our dedication to TRC and its future.

If you want to list TRC on NovaExchange, it'll be 0,3BTC and your coin is added immediately. The more small exchanges we have, I guess it'll be easier to get recognized. I have traded there a while and I like how the exchange is built, it reminds a little of Cryptopia.

Yeah, ICOs are definitely a drag on the cryptoecosystem.  Good thing TRC isn't an ICO!

Terracoin has been around since long before ICO's were even a thought and it has continuing development. Those that sluff it off and don't take a piece of the pie now are going to regret it in the future
