I'm surprised that it might have become a pay service. The whaleclub always joked about having high entry levels but the joke was that everyone could take part. And now they want to charge?

Back then the blog was a random following of blog posts predicting the price. I wonder what they did to think of charging.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

I've been live trading with them for over a month now. Great experience and most pro support I've seen. Deposit/withdraws/trading all going great. They've in general been very transparent when I contact them, very prompt.

No price feeed manipulation that I can see. No trade fees which is great. Trading is very fast especially on mobile. Security is good, have not had any issues with withdrawals.

I thought they were just a group of traders who spoke on teamspeak, wasn't aware they were providing any actual service.  Anyway wasn't there a big split with the admins a while back and some of them started a thing called stakepool to compete?

And they responded appropriately: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1361054.msg13997685#msg13997685

Not sure why you are going around bashing them. I've been using them for quite a while. I've been in contact with their support, they are very quick and friendly and they have a thriving community of followers on Twitter and TradingView.

The only responses I have heard back are from newbie and possibly shill accounts. I have seen so many scams, I am not bashing but warning other users to be careful.

Watch out!
Daily financing costs:
USD/EUR  0.05% /day  (=>   20%/year!)
USD/BTC  0.2% /day   (=>  107%/year!)
ETH/BTC  0.4% /day   (=> 711%/year!)

Contest looks nice but Leaderboard is defunct:
https://www.whaleclub.co/tournament/10K-LoW
(shows 0% for each - preview of what can happen balances too?)

Always do your research before posting bullshit kids!

Financing rates are nothing out of the ordinary for a high leverage platform.

Contest has not yet started (if you took the time to look at the countdown it starts July 1) which is why returns are at 0 for all participants for now.

I have been trading there and so have many others for many months without a single issue. (see the chat on site) Their support and team are extremely nice which is why I'm taking the time to post this.

They are managed/run by pros: https://whaleclub.co/about

ok, i edited about the competition, thanks

But financing rates of competitor i read previously were 2-5%/year. Didn't want to advertise any.

To go SHORT on Bitcoin one big competitor takes ~15%/year and a tiny one 40%/year.
I don't know of a reason to take even more for eth. And others don't take as much when you go LONG (because then you lend USD)

(/about page sais $10million last month, doesn't seem to fit the total on the front page?)
