Starbucks' headquarter is in Seattle and we should convince them to accept BTC as a valid payment...

Seems we have enough people to have a meetup.

OP (me) is too lazy/busy to organize. Anyone feel free to take the reigns.

I know of one other guy mining away down in Lacey (near Tacoma) ...
Lacey is as close to Tacoma as Seattle is... it's basically Olympia East.  I don't mine yet, but I'm near there.

Neighbor and myself are mining out in Snoqualmie.  I'm currently working on developing a desktop charting/trading tool for the major bitcoin exchanges.

I'm in seattle, I don't pay for my electricity.  Looking to go in on mining equipment/hosting for others.  Anyone want to pool money for one of those ASIC units?

Do you have link to the ASIC units.  I haven't heard a lot about them.  I'm working on getting a few rigs set up over the next couple of weeks.  How many boxes could you host?

Please post model, year, pictures, price, etc.

I'm guessing you would get a better price selling it on craigslist (and then using the cash to buy bitcoins), but who knows?

Dacoin, is the Seattle meetup still active?

I went to the Seattle meetup at Diablo's I was half an hour late (doctor's appointment).  There was no group and, after asking a few people if they knew what BitCoin was, I left.

I dunno. I've never been, since it is in the middle of my workday. Somebody else set the time and place.

Anybody feel free to edit that wiki to give us a better time/location. As far as I know, the current one isn't happening.
