MY POSEX WALLET HAS ALREADY STARTED STAKING

We are currently at block 12855, the HIPOS starts at block 20001.

It could take us 59 hours (2 days + 11 hours) to get to block 20001, if block speed is 30 seconds.

This was done on purpose, so that the DEVs have enough time to ensure that wallets work, and to ensure that people have enough time to buy and withdraw their POSEX coins from Yobit, before the HIPOS kicks in. This also ensure FAIRNESS, so that everybody has the opportunity to enjoy HIPOS.

POSEX started as a freecoin, this is the price that people sell their freecoins, in anticipation of HIPOS that will start in a few days  Cheesy

You have to gain weight first. You are just eligible for staking after 1.5 hours and will not immediately stake. You will stake eventually.

The Windows compiles have to be tweaked though by the dev as they crash as soon as you try to do something like staking or solo mining. If you open the Windows wallet for the first time, it works ok. When you do either POS or POW to the wallet it crashes and then remembers that. Subsequent opens even after a restart from that point on makes it to keep crashing. Best advice until the issue is sorted is to compile on Linux and run it there as that works fine, mine to a pool and just use the Windows wallet for normal stuff like checking balance, send coins and other non POS/POW activities. I think it is just a matter of something in the cross-compile that went awry.

I use windows wallet, mine is OK.

What version of windows do you use?

EDIT:

My STS wallet crashes whenever I want to stake, but this POSEX Wallet works fine for me.

Funny contrast though, that I am the only one that has issues with STS wallet

Well....I messed up!  I've been running my wallet all day waiting for my coins to mature until I read the last post.  I got curious as to the crashes so I went into the console and ran the setgenerate true method and then it crashed....LOL  And just like he said it keeps crashing now!  Keeps throwing up a "runtime error" and "terminating in an unusual way."  Re-installing don't work so....Huh  I've dealt with this many times with other wallets so....will figure it out, I guess.  I'm not worried about it because at least I know I have a little time left still to figure it out.  I'm pretty sure its a cache problem....

I can confirm receipt of 0.42 PEX The only donation I have received for my work so I take it was you then. Cheers Bud.

And the address is on my pc not yobit Wink don't really do wallet addys on yobit now as half the time wallets disabled

The trick to mining on windows is open your wallet wait 2min then point your miner to it. when you wish to stop mining close the wallet before the miner that way it will result in no Visual C++ error Wink

I think it takes 24 hours for coins to be able to stake on this one but once the first 24hr's has passed and you stake then it should move to the 1.5 hour min stake time Wink

1.5 hours to be eligible. Then when you get to 1 day coin age your coins will mature.
