I have a hard time getting into coins that are billions in supply, but I get a good feeling about Verge, the dev, and where it's going.

i have budget arround $250
i want to ask wich is better , buying XVG or buying new R9 380x to mining XVG ?
anyone know how much XVG can i get per day if i use R9 380x full time ? 24/7 ?

If it helps, I have used an an R9-290x. It mined myr-groestl at a little over 36Mh/s. You could look at mining pool info and see what is earned per Mh/s and figure out the current return proportionally. Looks like that $250 will get you about 8,000,000 XVG at this moment. It also looks like each Mh/s is receiving about 475 XVG per day at this moment. That would get me, about 17000 XVG per day. Which would take about 470 days to mine that 8,000,000 at the present reward value and difficulty. If you just want the XVG, might be better to buy, but things change, and if you want to have fun mining, well....there is value there too. |

Ok I am mining for you to see how many I get in an hour. Mind you I have 12 tabs open and watching Youtube, but it'll give you an idea. 727 in 20 mins so.. 2181 an hour, 52,344 for 24 hours, 366,408 a week, 1,465,632 as month So 0.10285073 BTC $46.05 a month if XVG stays at 7 sat. |

20102 is the rpc port you can do connect=37.59.24.15 in the VERGE.conf file if you are having problems with other nodes that it connects to by default. |

Can someone post a list of good nodes? I'm getting only one intermittent connection to an ipv6 node and it's taking literally days to sync (and 44k blocks to go still).
Also, there's no addnode function in the wallet? Is the correct name for conf file VERGE.conf?

Can someone post a list of good nodes? I'm getting only one intermittent connection to an ipv6 node and it's taking literally days to sync (and 44k blocks to go still).
Also, there's no addnode function in the wallet? Is the correct name for conf file VERGE.conf?
yes that is correct. just put connect=37.59.24.15 in your VERGE.conf, and you should sync up no problem. |

yeah when you use connect= it means only connect to the given ip.. you should sync up just fine tonight.. |

yeah when you use connect= it means only connect to the given ip.. you should sync up just fine tonight.. I'm sure you guys already know this but if your operating system isn't synced to the current internet time (atomic clock), your wallet won't sync. Doubt thats your issue but i thought i'd throw that out there. |

i havent added any addnodes, and i sync up super fast.
something else might be wrong.
(course, im not starting from scratch now either) but when i t was a week behind it synced up in a few hrs.

I am having some problems with my wallet
Running the Windows wallet and it is stuck @ block385695.
Also, is there a way to check if my wallet is on the right blockchain?
I withdrew my coin from bleutrade; and it shows in the block explorer I received it on 23 May; yet still has not shown up in my wallet.
I synced from scratch as cryptochainer does not have a bootstrap for verge. It's github link aint working.
