can't find max coincount, only current - which is already crazy high.
ever given a thought of doing a 100 to 1 reverse split or something?
also wishing verge was a pos coin

I mentioned last year that i think Proof of Stake would bode well for blackhole node support. Not sure what i think of POS right now though, the more the crypto-community has drifted from the Satoshi white paper, the more i cling to VERGE as the only coin doing it the right way.
A reverse split is a horrible idea.

All I see is a dev that is active, a coin that can be pretty good. But no use and no marketing. So as for the value of this coin.. It will nerver ever raise anymore then it is now.
Not saying the coin or dev is bad, the whole management and structure and usability is plain shit unfortunately. Won't ever see an ATH again, thats for sure. Though its a nice practice project for the Dev, which is in here now and then doing "??" stuff!

Reduction in coin supply, and a move to PoS is advisable in my opinion.
I've been riding the ShadowCash train and this coming year privacy centred coin will grow... big

It's not gonna move at all, look at it, if it even had the slightest chance it would be now with the alt coins all being up.. Verge is off the map and done with. look at bitbay right now - 3 year old coin, lots of initial trouble but dev kept going. last week someone posted about the coin on 4chan.org/biz/ and now everyone on the board is...on board. i suggest you loyalists start posting on there and selling your coin to the autists - if it's good and they like it, the same is likely to happen to your coin. |

I believe that it may help if the anonymity was explained better.
It looks as if the coin itself isn't, (which isn't bad, since you can see amounts in wallets, which can be useful), but that there are options to use the coin anonymously, such as the tor and i2p stuff.
I haven't delved too deeply to understand, but do see a nice set of resources associated with XVG, along with an active developer.
Those got my attention.

Agree with you here, I invested in bay in 2015, have to say traded it alot for profit but held on to some coins and now glad I did. This is also why I am now putting up orders to buy xvg. |
