On a side note I've never bad mouthed any coin out there but this guys is what centralized systems does it's complete BS what this coin has done to favor a few bag holders but it shows exactly the mentality of all centralized selfish money making schemes disguised as cryptos. Most people don't realize but there's an huge war going on behind the scenes being waged by those in the system that are just trying to make big money on cryptos and those who are empowering people out of money alchemists' closed society. Bitcoin beat them to the first punch but they are throwing everything trying to reverse their defeat that's why also it's so important to support empowering prospects as Verge is. A big shout out to Finney wherever he's out there who fought bravely for this cause.

Hal Finney is a HUGE inspiration.

I made this coin because I am good at making privacy software and i'm all too familiar with how peoples privacy online is being invaded more and more. I had always hoped people would use it and understand what it's capable of, and i think that is now coming to light.

Yep. Those guys gave their lives to the cause so future generations don't need to be slaved by the money changers. And now those same money changers are trying to control cryptos with their centralized VC backed systems. We won't fall for it!

   If your running on windows, and you had dogeD installed and synced, you can just delete everything in the appdata/roaming verge directory, and copy everything from the doged directory.  Then you don't have to sync.  It worked for me.

Also sent 500 coins as a test to bittrex BEFORE I downloaded and installed new Verge wallet. Coins made it no problem.

I've never seen a Dev on the ball like this one. This whole change thing had me a little concerned but WOW.....just WOW.

   Glad to hear it worked for you.  When you mentioned the conf file I had to go check, because I didn't remember changing it.  I never created one for dogeDark, or Verge, they both just worked "out of the box". 

   And yea I agree, good job Dev...
