I could use a little help here please. I installed Verge Core 2.1 qt last year and everything worked fine. It synched, I deposited some coins on two different occasions that confirmed, no problem. Now when I open it I'm being told (in red) that it's out of sync and I can't find any information anywhere on how to get it synced again. I'm using Windows.
Thanks in advance.

just leave it open and let it sync. it uses a new format for storage, so it will need to resync.

this site:

https://verge-wallet.info

appears to be a scam. we have contacted the owner about their intentions. everyone apparently gets the same deposit address.

cheap XVG incoming!  Wink Wink

I hope so. It is going down and looks like a downward trend. If it goes low enough I will buy back in to ride the next unwarranted pump and then sell to make a profit. Wait for next drop. Repeat and rinse.

XVG always hovering at .15 never went downl to 11,12 in recent past which means it ready for the next wave. As master haejin says, first wave hit .70 then next wave will take it to 1.70 targets. hope for the best.

I see more that bitcoin ends it's correction it will rally again, alts will probably lose some market. Then we will the rise of all alts as we are seeing now.

Bitcoin rally is due and right around the corner. The market has been reacting a little different recently but we should see it soon.

Noob here. XVG Electrum wallets just die quietly when I start them. Looks like maybe they need the bugfixes anyway.

SSL errors compiling the Core wallet on Debian sid. Fixed by installing libssl1.0-dev and libcrypto++-dev

Optimistic about this release, and sorry to hear about McAfee trying to bribe.

use the common sense rule.  The Forum ppl say Electrum itself went down.

Smart fix is to transfer to another wallet until its fixed all the way.   (and the first patch failed electrum, and second is active)

(i read the notes up top of the forum there)

Coinomi works
I updated to latest xvg desktop yesterday. (it is syncing last i checked)

New Verge coin fan in the house.

I am having issues setting up my L3 to mine Verge. I have used Aika Pool but when I put stratum.aikapool.com:7938 and stratum.aikapool.com:7638 the pool shows up as dead in the miner status page. Can someone experience please help me out or point me in the right direction? Thank you.

both ports show up dead?  or just one.

(use just one)   looks like the 7638 should be the one your using.  as the L3+ likes around 100k diff.

if that shows dead, (try the other then)

other pools are ofc available.

(are you using cgminer ...or something else?)

2% fee    there are alot of pools out there....

Both show as dead. I am using the L3 so just inputting it in the miner configuration page. So that would be CGminer? Let me try using just one pool and see what happens.

But then what happens in a scenario when one pool goes down? I want to do all of these configuration and testing before I send these miners to my hosting provider so asking these silly questions to avoid future headaches.

Verge's steadiness in the face of that flash crash of btc just confirmed that this coin is SOLID as a ROCK.

400 percent price increase looking ever more likely.

Hello,

Probably not worth while, but I'd like to have a go anyway. I'm trying to mine XVG using Kali Linux.

I keep getting ... stratum_recv_line failed

and this is the command I'm using ...

-a scrypt -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.aikapool.com:7938 -u login.worker -p Huh

Thanks for any help.
