There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I'm buying now  Grin who else is buying? I don't expect it to keep dropping much longer, or does anyone has and better idea about this??!! I saw this a few times and everytime it is the same with many established coins. Dropping for a few days and get back where they were. Though influx of new buyer as youg as 14-15 year olds might make it more unpredictabel

Is this all about korean exchanges or is it one of those moment which happen without a exact explanation? rise and drop of ether or btc couldn't be it .......
Just trying to benefit from the more experience members, you have seen this alot and brainstormed about it i'm sure lol

Below 1100 sats and continuing to drop.

Buy a Trezor and Protect your BTC, BCH, BTG, DASH, LTC, DGB, ZEC, ETH and ETC from hackers.
If I was helpful please buy me a coffee BTC: 1DWK7vBaxcTC5Wd2nQwLGEoy8xdFVzGKLK  BTG: AWvN1iBqCUqG2tEh3XoVvRbdcGrAzfBBpW

Below 1100 sats and continuing to drop.

This happens frequently, it is happening with almost all coins as usual. it was like this few days back too right after new year ( just after it was up almost 100%) now we see the same again. it was up 2 days ago and started drom yesterday. probably the cycle with repeat itself again.
Though if i'm wrong this i'm f...d loooool, but i doubt that. unless the whole market crashes of all coins. The luxury of being high in the rankings is that the coin gets back up easier. Too many hardcore verge owners are stubborn people, they are waiting for $1 and more Wink

I think verge is very controlled by whales atm.

But the beauty of this is that when it goes up, it will REALLY GO UP!

I think bitcoin is testing zone of support price at $ 13200, if this zone is penetrated, the price of xvg will decrease strongly.

Both show as dead. I am using the L3 so just inputting it in the miner configuration page. So that would be CGminer? Let me try using just one pool and see what happens.

But then what happens in a scenario when one pool goes down? I want to do all of these configuration and testing before I send these miners to my hosting provider so asking these silly questions to avoid future headaches.

Still showing dead  Sad Angry

Don't forget about me guys. Please help me with the configuration. Anyone else using L3's here to mine Verge?

Did you try the other pools i PM'd you?

even if you just try them to see if you get working.

To install the new WRAITH wallet on Mac do I have to delete the old wallet, wallet.dat (and some other files) and the blockchain and download the new ones or the new ones will automatically replace the old ones?

Thanks

Do not DELETE your wallet.dat.

make a copy of it, and store it in 2 or more places.

That is where your 'coins' are held.
if you delete that, you delete your coins.

(if you have no coins, then its just your transaction records)

I downloaded wraith wallet 4.0.1. for mac. When I click on it, it opens but then it closes by itself. Any idea?

Why we are falling like a rolling stone?  Huh
It will only get worse, before we get better.

All Koreean markets' volume was excluded from coin market cap.

You could also ask THE OTHER question: why did it grow 100X in just a few days? Believe it or not, the answer to these two questions is related.

Looks like they are trying to raise funds to get a third party auditor to audit the code to make sure Verge does what it does.
