BUt Monero is a anonymous coin. We just have to make sure that wraith works.
what diff wraith makes? Verge was already anonymous BEFORE wraith. Wraith is a nice feature, makes the Anonymous aspect Controllable. it is NOT the anonymous feature. Tor and I2P accomplish that. (from what i get, since the beginning anyway) Agreed, too many people think that it will be Wraith that brings the anonymity to XVG but it has always been a privacy-focused coin and Wraith is just a nice bonus feature. |

I am pretty excited with the hard fork news at block 1,824,150. Hopefully everything will go according to plan.
Can someone please explain what exactly will happen here? Do we get a new coin? Will more coins be issued? No and No. They are just updating the protocol. The blockchain will continue on a new chain. No new coins are being issued. The old chain will stop functioning at the time of the fork. All coins remain the same. Nothing lost, nothing gained. Thank you. So what are the benefits? If any? Supposedly stealth transactions to and from exchanges. To make sure that all stealth transactions will run smoothly, Verge will hard fork at block 1,824,150. You don't need to. Just use the wallet.dat file from the previous wallet and you will have the same keys. Make sure you backup wallet.dat EVERY time you create a new receive address or send coins or you will lose coins. |

How to upgrade on MAC OS ? Simply install new wallet app over old app and use old datadir data? Or i must download whole blockchain using new wallet app?

So can anyone give me some more insight as to how/if Verge is more anonymous than Monero? A guy went on rant to me by saying how verge has a lot of laws and shouldn't even be a privacy coin. Supposedly Verge will not work in countries that block TOR, but shouldn't it be okay through i2P?

i sent yesterday xvg to cryptopia, without knowing that the fork is coming, after the fork happens i receive my coins as usual, or i have to create a ticket support on cryptopia for that?
I have the same problem.2018-01-23 00: 00: 34 it is sent on cryptopia.co.nz 1500 xvg.A fork is passed, and verge did not come.A transaction is presented, as completed. |

I bought verge when it was .20$.. How much change of this getting back there and more? I will hold my verge longer, but I feel better when he price climbs again. Wraith protocol is 100% anonomous? I love the logo and if it is back at .20$ I will even buy more, because I have faith in this agian!

No need to bother any exchanges support on this issue. Thats the way it is. you can still buy/sell/trade on the site however. (sell low, so i can buy low)  |

so when is the fork? block explorer shows I got "paid" my XVG, however, not in my wallet. Its the same wallet Ive sent payments to for months. I do have the latest wallet. Any idea where my payments went to? FYI, YIIMP Pool appears to be down, getting 403 - forbidden error from it now.

The new Wraith Protocol Wallet stopped @ Syncing, 37 blocks are missing and don't get complete.
Last Block i got around 13hours ago...
Anyone got the same?
*Update*
now it jumped to 1250 Blocks and it don't get less.. Then they dissapear .. Then i can see missing blocks..
But stopped 13-14hours ago.
