Stop selling people.... I've seen the value above 1400s less than a month ago. Why sell in the 800 - 870s ?

you must know that is trading. Someone bought XVG under 60 satoshi so they want to sell to get profit, someone bought at 1300 sats but they think XVG price will decrease so they want to stop loss. And have a lot of whales in here, they want to get cheap coin.

Tor Integration has not impacted the price and even wallets are not working for many people. (I am one of them) Team should open their eyes and listen the investors to gain momentum again. First they need to make wallet easier for everyone. Second they need to find good and famous  partnership third roadmap doesnt reflect whole 2018 and need to be updated.

Tor intergration was huge.    thats what got verge started.    I2P helped alot as well.

Several wallets are working.     use those, while the others are updated.

Need info, is there's something wrong with XVG wallet at the current time.

I tried to withdrew about 475 XVG to my Verge address in Bittrex.com, but it's already took about 8 hours and still there's no notification about receiving those coin I withdrew earlier.
Also i cannot found the withdraw TX ID status as it shown in Aikapool transaction list,  txid=ee8252a49f56fbeece2469e37625771d3b5532eecf9ac0c3f8a4335472b27133

Beware AikaPool
 

Having the same problem with Aikapool.
On the Verge website it showed Aikapool had pushed updates and should be fine, but it looks like they are sending the coins to destination nowhere.
I have withdraw coins to Litebit, Binance and my Wallet (fully synced) ... not a single coin is beeing received.

Hardfork was poorly executed and the latest version of the wallet requires specific libraries (libseccomp, libcap) that are only available on Linux.
You need to give exchanges and pool operators a clear schedule and ample amount of time (months) not days or weeks to prepare for a hardfork.

I hope someone can help me figure out how to build the new wallet on platforms other than Linux that do not support seccomp and libcap.

Once again Verge team said stay tuned for some "exciting news this week" and failed to deliver. Another missed dead line or just not smart marketing? First of all the statement was made on a damn Saturday so I suppose "this week" means till the end of that day or the start of the upcoming week but not "this week." No one is disputing the great prowess of the product as I actively use it as oppose to just speculating. I also am invested and feel frustrated due to the poor marketing and communication efforts done by lack of know how and competence. Five hours ago a new story emerged on Verge proclaiming a great product but lagging sluggish coin unable to recover as most coins worth a damn have all ready. We need to stop speculating and as a group start putting the word out to Verge topull their PR and marketing out of the gutter, put a real team together and get this parry started!

I am holding since last november. I believe that xvg reach 0.3 dollar again and may pass 0.5 dollar end of this year. This is may expectation cos xvg hodlers are not patient to hold  more than 1 year. When they get profit , they directly sell what they have. Team is working, you may see in github but products needs time to show itself in market or some updates to fix bugs etc.. Basically if you are considering to buy, buy and hold at least one year.

I prefer to say that XVG hodlers are not patient to wait more than 1 year. Team and products need time in market. hopefully market will recover itself and if exceed 1T $, XVG can hit 0.5 $.

The whole trading volume is lo. So what do you expect? 1600 Sat or more. Just keep them in your wallet and wait. When all the bad news about crypto is over trading will come back and the prices will go up. If not then take your loss as a man.

Hopefully the price does go back up. Currently I'm in a loss as well but I'm in for the long term ride. So I'm not panicking just yet. Verge is still top class among other existing privacy coins. If not for the downtrend, We would have seen an all time high.
