Classic shitcoin. The 100000th privacy coin this year by devs who don't know what communication is, don't know what user experience and design is. These are obvious to all but based on this i guess the technology isn't top class either.
And still wants to compete with products like Monero and Zcash? Just compare Monero and Verge wallets.
Zcash has a professional team and the developments are heading in the best possible direction.

been in community for many years   (yes the copycat companies can keep shilling new privacy coins -- but none have what this coin does -- and they did it not THIS YEAR ... this goes back -- and they have all in line ! - VERGE NOT ONE OF THESE )

yeah XVG is dead, it was always a scam coin, and yes, people made money off it but its a scam coin

the DEV killed it by doing the while count down to verge on new years eve 2018

anyone whos still buying verge thinking it will get to 25 cents is crazy

Many people saying things that are just not true, XVG is be here for years and not "The 100000th privacy coin this year"...if people are losing money they call it a scam, if the same coin makes money you don't here there complaining.

Crypto business is  an investment with no guarantees at all, if you cant stand losing go do something else.

CCex shows xvg in Maint mode.  (like they are going to update still, hopefully)

  I pulled my xvg out of there before the hardfork.

that way, any problems on their end, im not stuck.

   (always best if you dont leave any coins on any exchange)   even if they are planning on updating, it still puts your coins on hold.

 ( no idea what their plans are ofc)

I think we have already suffered from the crash the India news provided us. So much happening in a single month, it is pretty crazy. I expect to see a market upturn soon though.

Agreed, everyone is piling it on, Crypto is being attacked from all sides, especially by the media. Everyone has an agenda, mostly for personal gain. Many of the new people brought into crypto over the past few months are losing a lot of money, while the old crypto dogs are capitalising from the panic and taking their cut-price coins...happily. It will be a year of change, regulation etc, but that will also be good for us in the long term. It really is the wild west at the moment, scams, hacks and too much volatility. I am tired of the papers and their sensationalism, blowing things out of proportion.

I am sure that BTC will stabilise after this shakeout and the alt market will rise with it. We just have to be patient.

Giantkin nobody of any importance has said "we wanna ban crypto" i did not even feel like looking it up lol.
Ok looked it up anyway, yup they want to ban "criminal use of crypto" . Would anybody expect them to say otherwise?

Wherever you live, you have to pay taxes, right? It may be easier to go under radar if you made shitloads with crypto, but officially you should pay taxes already. Eventually they will try to make an effort to find people with millions on crypto accounts, but that seems pretty difficult for now.

As usual nothing much will happen, specially anything a korean or indian politicians say should not be taken seriously. @ countries where the politicians have such dirty hands, mobsters will look like saint compared to them lol

But indeed some websites and even some bigger ones do distort the comments by politicians to such a degree that it may scare people. It is way too hard to regulate exchanges, they simply register somewhere where there are no regulations.

Regardless of what the facts are, these rumors have, amongst others, effected the market obviously....some ( probably like you ) who have bought way cheaper than the prices now may not be bothered as much as people like me who have bought at prices way below the current prices.

Sure it will go up again, many are itching to get into the market, but in the long run some kind of regulation and resistence to regulation will make this movement improve. It is still in its "baby"stages
