On first look i as well thought its way more expensive, but than i remembered that with Credit Card you have some additional costs mostly. In my case, if i remember right it is at least
0.50USD per transaction, eventually more hidden fees by my bank as well. So the gap is not too big to be honest.

For sure, someone familar with crypto wallets, scanning the QR code it is a fast transaction as well. To be honest i did not expect that the process being that easy but awaited some furth and

Then you might have to go through the process of converting a crypto you bought/hold into XVG, which incurs exchange fees. Then on top of all that, they're charging you more than if you'd just paid with your cc.

All this so, what, a charge doesn't appear on your statement that only you see anyway? Paying extra to put your dirty laundry on a public ledger that's copied on thousands of computers doesn't seem like great value. I realize that a lot of people's knee jerk reaction is that this "partnership" will lead to mass adoption of Verge, but there is very little evidence to suggest that anyone who already pays for porn will switch to paying with XVG and even less to suggest that anyone who doesn't normally pay will begin to.

While I understand people use credit cards to buy BTC/ETH/LTC, I'm sure most people know better than that (or should).

He wasn't referring to the cost of purchasing BTC though. It was described in an earlier post that the XVG was valued at a higher cost than what the membership typically goes for which is not the case. I paid 116 XVG for my monthly membership which when it was completed, was $9.99 - There is no upcharge involved is all I'm saying.
