Not so much big brother but more the issue of tech companies exploiting all possible holes. Seems to attract people that are a little less connected to people.
Data is just to important these days for them not to try exploiting us.

Problem is not with companies doing this but government letting companies doing it :/

Its both, you can not run a cell phone companie without backdoors for government in North America. Some of these companies are also big enough to dictate policy.

They dictate policy only because we have shitty governments with shitty election of people needing the money of big companies to run a campaign because people are too dumb to look themselves who's the more suited for the job and have to be convinced through expensive propaganda.

Governments do not bring change, its the people that bring in serious change.
Problem now is how powerful these companies have become and how reliant people are on their products.
1984 will continue till we out right riot. Companies now submit to the people till the issue fades and try again.
One aspect for these products listening in could be faster evolution of the product. Least that would be the argument.

I would absolutely love to know what they're doing with all those voice recordings. What possible use would it be listening to people abusing assholes on talent shows and threatening their kids?
They are looking for something interesting to find like a casual conversation of 2 politicians that can be used against them later Wink

i think they are want to prove how the mankind is the dumpest living creature in this world..

Hope you're right and we will indeed riot buddy. But I'm afraid it will never happen.
They're not even thinking about it. Most people are just stupid consumers bending in front of the glorious capitalism
