What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020

I think its around 40/60% of the world population will know how to use bitcoin in 2020. It is 4 years from now, So for me that is my prediction

Lol you know bitcoin users present at this year? only about 5 million users. it's just my prediction. while the number of Earth's population reaches billions of people? Imagine more than 1 billion people using bitcoin? certainly many stores will accept bitcoin. and we will not trouble to use the bitcoin?

I think its gonna be 20 to 30% of the earths population. War is always around in arab countries and internet access are scarce to those who suffer from constant warfare. Many parts in Africa are far from using bitcoins due to walrlords attacks on villages. If there will be no violence around these parts including to those whom i have not mentioned, bitcoin users will be around 60 to 70%.

even though all these problems get solved 70% is quiet large because only 4 more years apart for 2020, within that period adoption may increase and it will be less than 20%

I voted 10-20% of people will own bitcoin by 2020 because after the halving this year, mined bitcoin will be lesser and it will be difiicult to have them as people that are having it won't sell their bitcoin easily as its supply is limited and its price is rising. And at the year of 2020 another halving will happen as bitcoin halving happens every 4 years.

i think less than 1% 4 years is too short for atleast 5-10% of worlds population to have or know about bitcoin
specially when bitcoin doesnt have that much publicity(advertisement on tv etc..).

I dont think only 1%.... Cause now the user percentage is more than 10 and cant we expect any new user daily. Even if one new user login to any website where bitcoin is accepted or simply written about bitcoin then the percentage will go higher and the price of BTC too for sure and if price is high then it will be major concern in the society peoples

I believe that most countries will use Bitcoin as payment. Today Bitcoin is becoming increasingly popular, it is progressing. However, progress is only in the developed countries. In developing Bitcoin is open to question, his fate is being decided at the legislative level. The e developed, the poor, or totalitarian countries, about Bitcoin and hear does not want. People are becoming more intelligent as time pass by and thanks to the internet where information is just one click away, with the good benefits of using bitcoins once they will discover this it would be easy for them to adopt with appropriate education.

I think 20-30 percent would be enough for the percentage of people who will own bitcoin on 2020 because we can't be sure that the doubt of other people on bitcoin will not exist anymore. IMO there still doubt for people to use bitcoin up to the year of 2020 because it's not easy to understand exactly what is bitcoin it takes time for an average person to be able to understand all the basic things about bitcoin so that scenario can affect people for getting into bitcoin.

Even 2% is a large number. I calculated 1% of total world population and it is somewhere at 70 Million which is still a huge number. Voted for the first but I think that 0.x% will own bitcoin, this will impact directly the bitcoin price. Until 2020 we hope that the block size will be increased and more promotion of bitcoin happens.

The word that better describe could be users,say own Bitcoin it would be more complicated answer, because even if somebody only have a portion of 1 BTC still fall within the category own BTC, just as some will have 1,2,3,4 and so on, instead say BTC users encompasses these and falls into a category more widespread.

i feel like the number right now is probably around 2-4 percent and its only bound to go up. so for 2020 my guess would be around 10% if alot of merchants start adopting and accepting bitcoin then we might even see a number around 30-40%.
