Hi All

I have my Windows wallet installed and I created a BigUp.conf file as instructed here. My wallet is encrypted and unlocked.

I see a little cross on the connection icon? I did open my Windows firewall, but it seems no connection available?

Wallet says Out of Sync.

I would appreciate any tips.

Thanks!

OK, I see no network connectivity, what could be wrong? thanks!

Sorry for the monologue - its now working! Yay! :-)

Cheers I just followed those instructions and got back on blockchain,

Sorry for another noob question.

How do I set the wallet (on Windows/PC) to start Staking? Should the wallet be locked or unlocked?

Maybe there is a tut or manual somewhere that I am missing?

Thanks for any help Smiley

Great, thank you!

I see network traffic and all seems working fine. Is there anything else left to do? Does the amount of BigUp in your wallet determine the rate of staking, or does it not matter?

How often would one expect to see new BigUp being generated?

Again, sorry for the noob questions.

The rate of staking is determined by the amount of BigUp in the wallet. If you hover your mouse button over the green staking button on the lower left side it will give you an average time to receive a Bigup payout. It varies but in a year you should received 100% increase in BigUP holdings.

What will the bigup partnership with hyper do to help hyper?  Huh Can anyone explain this to me because i dont see to see any reason why they would want to partner with you.

BIGUP!!

This is a great question that will also likely be discussed in the Hyper thread too...

The partnership is mutually beneficial and is already underway, you can see mention of it here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=624651.msg14443668#msg14443668

People playing on the Hyper platform can now transact using BigUp

The BigUp community is BIG, positive, enthusiastic and encouraging of it's supporters. Integrating BigUp into the Hyper ecosystem opens the entire Hyper ecosystem to a new group of users, the BigUp community. As the BigUp community continues to grow and spread we will be constantly exposing new potential users to the Hyper platform

BigUp will also be sponsoring tournaments, etc. on the Hyper platform to further create awareness of all of our efforts in crypto

BigUp is about making everyone BIGger and Bigging us all up!

BigUp Life!!

Good, but.. can you check your pm?

Yes so would I. Because I personally find it absolutely ridiculous that anyone would pick this coin up for merchant sale considering its complete lack in value. It's name was great, hype GREAT, follow through pretty fail. At this point anyone that would be getting into the BigUp lifestyle would be throwing there money away. millions upon millions were purchased at 1 sat. Most these bag holders are like us all and are about making money and not the BigUp Coin lifestyle. (wtf does that mean anyways, saying you tell me man its different for everyone is just moronic. Clearly you have people who have invested time and money into your coin, a little more than a cheech and chong moment would be nice)

1 sat is what a coin should start out at, a slow climb is better than a sharp climb and big drop that leaves a bunch of butthurts in it's wake... bouncing between 4 and 6 sat isn't bad at all considering a lot of the other 1 sat ICO coin... bouncing inbetween 8 and 10 sats would be even better Wink but I'm patient

Hi Guys. Is this "staking" the same as "mining" is for other coins?

Does it help to have a powerful graphics card, or is the major determining factor the number of coins in your wallet?

It mines without using your graphics card the major determining factor is the number of coins in your wallet. You will notice that you
are not using CGMINER or any other mining program. It is all in the wallet.

Everyone please be aware that Prospecta is an extortionist and has threaten to destroy the value of the coin if not paid. To pay prospecta what he is due
Please go to the left of the screen and under his name and press IGNORE. His attempts at trying to manipulate coin price is worthless and we are all using it
to get cheap coin. Thanks prospecta...how much coin do you have left? I still haven't reached my goal yet.  This is the floor level all over again. To all hurry up before he catches on.  Later when he runs out of coin and cash I am sending him a thank you note for all the cheap coin. The sell wall @ 6 sat. will eventually disappear so get in while it is still cheap. Once that has been breached or removed the weak hands should have been shaken out. Again if you are looking to sell @ 6 remove the sales at 6 let the buyers push the price up passed 6 then post your sales @ 6 and they will get taken on the spot. Then to top it off you are losing valuable coin if you are not staking in the meantime while you are waiting for your sell price to be surpassed. Don't be a frantic panic seller, those are the ones that get taken or end up disappointed that they sold low.

Many are still bashing Bigup it started with one satoshi and the dev and the community are working hard to make it a popular altcoin it's to early to tell how Bigup will fair compare to other altcoins still devs is working hard for it's adoption so why not give them a chance

The only ones bashing Bigup are the ones trying to get noobs to buy the coin they are bagholding other than Bigup and looking to dump on someone.
Holding Bigup pays for itself. Traders really don't care about holding in a matter of fact they hate it. Traders are just looking for a dump and pump.
Then of course if you mention BIGUP they get upset because BIGUP is a "holders" coin and that is "money" they can't manipulate in to their accounts.
There are three people on the top of the list not to trust. 1. Traders. 2. Lawyers (politicians) 3. Doctors.

Great, thanks for the response! Smiley

what a BIGBIG reply hahahah, if you don't like the idea of this coin you are free not to visit here
just leave this thread to those who are willing to hold on and believe that this coin will grow up
it is not whether you like it or not, it is between dev and trader plus the holders.
