How much BTC have you gambled?

I don't know exactly how much I have gambled , especially in casino games and sportsbetting
but I have invested a lot of time in Poker and things are going great so far , I play micros but usually 6 tables at time in 3.3$ SNGs
in general how much you wagered is not important , you should only know how much you have won or lost

I also don't know how much exactly I bet in gambling but definitely not more than 5BTC and until now I'm in profit over 3BTC. I usually bet in some selective sports bets like most likely going win one even though odds are less and so for my winning % is more than lost one.

I recently got a no deposit bonus and am playing around when I see another player making bets of 20 BTC at a time. This specific player has been making consecutive 20 BTC bets for awhile now. Obviously he wins some and he loses some, but most of them are losses. What I can't wrap my head around is why in the world would anyone with this much disposable BTC be gambling it away on a online casino. I understand people have gambling problems, bet wow, I can't even imagine having this much BTC to just gamble away. I can think of a thousand things I'd rather be doing with that money, one of them simply being saving it.

I dont think nowadays there are still have some player to play like that much because 20 btc is not little. Assume that you are losing it all it this will not be good for your financial may be past few years ago using this kind of bet is playable for now I dont really find someone that dare to bet that high amount of money unless they are some investor or may be some big whale. I ever did 1 btc played never more than that

actually i was never gambling just like you said and a bit difficult to remember because i was never counted how much money did i spend in gambling but i had experience have lost 0.5 btc only in few bets

what? 20BTC on each bet that is risking $8200 that is one crazy player or he is loaded with money that does not care about losing that much. there is another possibility that those bets are fake, and the casino's bot is making them appear in the pool of other bets just to increase popularity and their stats.

anyways, like you i have been gambling mostly with free BTC and promotional giveaways but my investment is 0.01-0.05BTC at most i think.

Noone would know how much themselves gambled in total, even it's a small gambler.
Op actually questioning about a high rollers that spent thousand dollar which most of them losses and keep playing.
The thing make them come back to play are :
1. Chasing big winning
2. Recovering their lost

So my question for you guys is, do any of you gamble like this? Do any of you have these kinds of funds, and if so, why are you still gambling?

You must be new to bitcoin gambling because I have seen people throw away 100s of BTC at a time on Primedice and obviously these people have tonnes of money so they don't bother about losing them, its all about the rush of gambling and entertainment it brings to them. And the thing is Bitcoin gives them the opportunity to gamble anonymously, so they play as much as they want to.

As for me, I play as much as I can afford to lose.

i have gambled and lost almost 0.1BTC over a long period of time in different games. but i would never make a big bet as OP is saying no matter how much money (bitcoin) i have i would never bet 20BTC because i know by now that when i bet 1 satoshi and lose i can easily bet 20BTC and lose as easily.
