What's the best way to stake ? I sent 1131 KR to my wallet in amounts of 50 but have only been able to get 1.5 KR so far from staking for the last seven days with wallet left open 24/7
As I have said it is taking longer for us small investors who don't have a large amount of coins because there is more and more network weight now. I remember the first few days I was earning 2 KR coins per day and I only had the wallet open for 10 hours max but now I'm only earning 0.25 KR per day for the same amount of time. This is the case for all POS coins you need a large stake to earn a good amount of rewards from staking. "This is the case for all POS coins you need a large stake to earn a good amount of rewards from staking." that is NOT true. there are many new projects that have systems to combat the "little guy" problem. vericoin is one. Sorry but just didn't want misinformation spread that might turn off someone to PoS

All KR swap requests that were submitted on Friday, 30-Sept-2016, have been processed.
Some people forgot to ATTACH the "keystore" folder. These people have been notified by email that their swap request is incomplete.
I cannot complete swap requests without keys.
Swap requests submitted on Saturday, 1-Oct-2016, are being processed now.
I've received my new KR by October 3 and I would like to say that swap process was very smooth and hassle free. I was able to swap my old KR into new PoS KR in no time by just sending an email with the required details. Thanks for such a great service. I'm staking my KR right now like crazy on my laptop. I would try this on my Pi, but I have some difficulties figuring out how to cross compile it for my Raspberry Pi 3. Any noob friendly guide would be nice for this, as I want to try this on my Pi real soon.

I'm glad there are other POS coins for the small investor.

Hi everybody. This new algo and stake phase are looking very interesting, so please tell me how to start staking, I have KR on Bittrex and I downloaded new KR wallet, what now, can you please explain me step by step what to do to start staking? How much I will receive KR on staking phase, which is min and max time for staking and Can I spend KR while staking it?? Thank you very much forward for your answer.
im also interested how the new wallet works and if this an staking one how many coin do i need to have to at least have 1 kr rewards everyday? To stake KR, it must be in a Krypton wallet, not on an exchange. Leave the wallet open. If you have secured your wallet with a password, go to "settings : options" and "unlock for staking only." By doing this, your wallet acts like a KR node and you will be rewarded .25 KR, depending on how much KR you hold. The small "lightning bolt" in the lower left corner of your wallet will inform you of your next expected stake payment. If this is not soon enough for you, put more KR in your wallet. To keep KR from staking, so that you can spend it, go to "settings : options : reserve" and set the minimum amount you want to spend.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, covertress. Yobit's support is sub-par indeed, so there is no much chance they will answer. However you could implement the swap on Yobit yourself, the same way as you implemented the swap for coins in local wallets. People can create Yobicodes with their KR, and send them to you, then you could send the appropriate amount of KR to their new KR wallet address. Does it sound like something you would do?

Hello drays, Creating Yobit codes to send the old ETH-based KR will not work for two reasons: 1) The old KR chain is not longer running so, no ETH-based KR can be sent or received via it. 2) Yobit has their KR wallets locked for sending and receiving. I cannot receive Yobit codes into a Yobit KR wallet. All I can advise is that you file a support ticket with Yobit. Ask them to honor my request to swap KR. Unfortunately, I hear that many other coin wallets have also been abandoned by Yobit's lack of support. I wish that I had better news for KR holders with coins on Yobit but, if Yobit will not reply to my support tickets, the ability to swap those KR is out of my hands.

i guess this OP needs to be translated into some other languages to get the attention of some non-english investors, there are some translator here in the forum that translate evrything into their local language for a bounty, if you need one, i can do the Filipino translation.

Hello drays,
Creating Yobit codes to send the old ETH-based KR will not work for two reasons:
1) The old KR chain is not longer running so, no ETH-based KR can be sent or received via it. 2) Yobit has their KR wallets locked for sending and receiving. I cannot receive Yobit codes into a Yobit KR wallet.

Hi covertress! as far as I know the usage of Yobit codes have no relation to the blockchain! Those codes could be easily used to send coins from one Yobit account to another one. Even if the wallet is locked, they work just fine! For experiment, I created a Yobit code with all my KR coins on Yobit, then retrieved it without any problem. So it works well currently! My proposed process for the swap is the following: 1. The only thing you need for this swap is to have a Yobit account. 2. People will create Yobit codes with their KR coins in Yobit, then they can send the code to you via email or PM, together with his new non-ETH KR wallet address. 3. You could activate the code on your Yobit account and easily see how many coins you got. The sender then cannot use those coins anymore, as funds will be transferred to you. 4. Then you send that exact amount to the new KR wallet address you received together with Yobit code (using real non-ETH KR blockchain). The process is very easy and safe. When swap is finished, you will have all the Yobit KR coins on your account, and can just burn them somehow. Try it, it has to work! I can send you some KR Yobit code, so you can test and make sure it works! It's Monday morning, and Mr. Drays gets to learn an important lesson in risk management and why it isn't recommended to let seedy exchanges hold your coins. Thanks a lot for sharing your unparalleled wisdom, Mr.Shinohai. We are amazed.
