Step 4 : Turn all PCIe slots to Gen1

What the heck type of motherboards are you using that allow you to set that?
Never seen that as an option on anything I've ever used.

I thought everyone knew where to find the various PCIe gen settings so why bother explaining how to get to each and turn them one by one Tongue

You seem to be ASSUMING that these settings are the same on every motherboard - and that they EXIST on every motherboard.

They do, on the motherboard that the OP is asking about atleast. And he did get what I meant. I don't know what rattled your cage though ...

Very good miner. On 8x 1070 i get around 245 MH/s and one test rig with one 1060 = 23 - 25 MH/s.
1070 Limit TDP = 130W
1060=110W
Both overclocked.

Will be implemented some kind of report or local webserver like JSON report? What is missing is temperatures , MHs/s, invalid shares, stale shares.... Using Linux Mint.

Very nice miner but without any monytoring.

Not Genoil's project, though he seems to have forked HIS miner from ethminer WAY BACK WHEN.

I don't think that project is supported any more.

trying to mine with genoil 1.1.6 but ever since I updated to the windows 10 creators update, the miner crashes instantly. worked fine for weeks before this. tried to use 1.1.9 and it starts up, but after connecting to the pool it says "rejected in 2000ms" and then "waiting for work package..." over and over. tried switching between cuda and openCL but nothing.

using:
win 10
latest nvidia driver
gigabyte geforce 1080
20 GB ram

batch file:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ethminer.exe -G -S eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -O 0x34B1dbA2F6A60FFc643EBC438e60Fe9bE9Aba437.stratum

any ideas?

Out of nowhere nano tweak of ASUS R9 380:

I haven't kept up everything GENOIL, but I thought I would share this.

1) I'm still mining with some ASUS R9 380's. At their peak, a 6 card rig in an econo configuration (800/1500) would mine ETH at 125 - 126 Mh/s. This configuration is UBUNTU 15.10, 15.12 drivers and a compiled version of GENOIL 0.9.41-1.1.7

2) I was running CM 9.3 and by chance stumbled on the fact that using the above GENOIL version was actually faster for THIS miner configuration. (Today, CM 9.3 is around 10-15% worse from the peak for the above configuration.) As of today, the identical 6 card rig is hashing away at around 119 - 120 Mh/s. A loss of about 5% from the peak ETH hashing rate till now.

3) The latest linux GENOIL version (0.12) is even slightly faster ( about 0.5%) than 1.1.7

I'm in the middle of reorganizing things. Master branch is now up to date with Pavel Bylica's work and David Li speedup. Releases are still there under 117 branch. Apologies for the mess, didnt know people still used the binaries.

I would love to still use these binaries, but I'm wondering if anyone has benchmarked this vs. the latest Claymore on Polaris cards, and checked on the pool for average effective hashrate in each case?
I would switch right now, but I'm still in the middle of testing different memory timings on different cards, and I'd have to put that on hold because a different miner would throw everything off.

Anyone benchmarked this recently?
