Okay. End of January so far.

Let me summarize what do we have.

- No change in network hashrate
- Only 1 pic of some weird chips. No more evidences.
- 1 week ago Avalon started "shipments". And nobody received tracking info so far.
- BFL put a plan of crisis escape on their site. They draw very strong activity, but also without any evidences
- Also BFL Josh used to be an idiot tolling trolls instead of working.
-,BFL Josh runs out of money, crying about $4k withdrawal delay from gox, having $25M customers money
- basics died eventually. They looks like most honest guys from others. They just honestly said "game over", while others continue to play drama.

Oh! And the most interesting thing.  For upgrading BFL customers - you must either send your fpga device back, or make a security payment to BFL, BEFORE ASIC shipped away.

And this is while BFL has no terms, no rules and policies on their website.

What a scamer paradise this community....

If your computer is made of matter, and it occupies space, even if it is perfectly, ideally, efficient there is not enough energy in our sun to power it long enough for it to COUNT to 2^256, let alone compute the bitcoin address and check the balance.  If such a matterless, spaceless device exists, you have a point.  If not, you are wrong.

Oh, and look up who got rich in the various gold rushes... it wasn't the miners, it was the shovel makes and the blue jean companies.  The money in ASIC is in selling them, not mining with them.

I congratulate AVALON with passing through all skeptics, trollings, temptations and borders described and missed here.

I really surprised that unknown group of nerds was able to bring somthing really new and amazing to the world. This really surprised me. Hat off.

However that was a kickstart and situation still evolves.

In a name of science: QUESTION EVERYTHING.

I recall most part of my congratulations.

Looks like they just bunch of 23 yr old chinese honored nerds with huge self overestimation and lack of any kind of responsibility. Watch your step walking with them!

I hope competitors will kill their sloven business.

It has been some months since you wrote in this thread lucif, however I see your humanity in this particular thread very strongly.

Remember that the Chinese culture and the bitcoin culture are actually very compatible.

It is very Eastern philosophically to be one with your community. Mining IS oneness with bitcoin - maintaining the ledger of all transactions. Everything done on the blockchain is seen by everyone.

It really should not be surprising that Avalon embrace the culture of bitcoin and overcome the things you consider to be roadblocks on the basis of this community unity. Perhaps, lucif, this is an opportunity to examine your own Western individual-oriented philosophies in light of a Eastern oriented Avalon.

I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts. Don't stop being who you are.
