It better be a fantastic plane we get to keep with the pizza

I fly a Cessna 172P, so that might actually be a possibility Grin

this is starting to sound like a good deal

i need a loan, anyone?

Perspective -- this is an image from Las's server. I assume it was his balance ~June 2010 by the modified date.

... So don't make fun of him too much -- it's quite possible he's a very, very wealthy fellow right now. Wink

Wow 34k bitcoins. I do salute the fellow.

Is it worth anything to anybody to learn who laszlo is? To be clear, I have no direct, nor indirect, proof that he's the Pirate, but he's still active on this forum, albeit under a different name(s).

Hint (directed toward laszlo): AYBABTU

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Who buys me a pizza in Luxembourg (they speak mostly french here, fml) get's bitcoins at a nice exchange rate (not ten thousand but 2-3.50 depending on the daily rate and of course the pizza).

seriously if you want your first bitcoin running an errand for me and ordering me a pizza, we can make deals every other week while I'm at the local hackerspace in Strassen. can be scheduled for a bi-weekly semi-automated process (I confirm the event, then you take care of delivery), can scan you the flyers of my fav deliveries if interested. basically you purchase bitcoins with credit card while speaking french on the phone. simple as that Cheesy

Or I can return you such favor in future.

You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do.

Luxembourgish, French and German even. Smiley LOL, I used to live in Esch/Alzette and could've pulled this off, no probs (save when P&T inadvertently swapped my phone line with a local hair salon's!) but that was many, many years ago, long before Bitcoin.

Great thread, this, by the way. Smiley

who took the btc as payment?

afaik this is not known.
and there are two 10.000 btc transactions around May 22 so the gig probably happened twice (at least).

I concur!  What do we call it, Bitcoin Pizza Day?  Laszlo's Pizza Day?

laszlo I would offer to buy you a pizza, but I'm not based in the USA, so they might think I'm a prank caller.

If you don't get any other offers I might look into how to go about buying you one online.

Are you getting hungry or do you just like pizza ? Cheesy

I just think it would be interesting if I could say that I paid for a pizza in bitcoins Smiley

^ So May 21st is Laszlo's Pizza Day!
