I'm curious, what service do masternodes provide in the bitsend network?
I know in other coins they are important for instasend and private send but I haven't seen such functions advertised in bitsend.

oh, I am probably coming from another planet... I did not realize BSD was airdropping....
I was keeping my wallet opened at some point if I am correct... but did not see
enough benefit to be worth the electricity spend to keep the wallet opened ;-)
So, BSD outside exchange sleeping until real significant higher move.
Actually, it was moving a bit yesterday... hoping it will continue

Low supply and on big exchanges does not guarantee a coin will have high price, but we should take a look how the progress of the price of the coin since the first day of the launch. In my opinion, BSD is increasing time by time although the volume is not that big but it is stable which is good. The price is good enough now if you see how much it was long time ago. |

In my world, that price is very high. Good for my portfolio, bad for my masternode prospects. At this rate, I doubt I'll ever be able to fund a masternode. The rising price is a pretty good consolation prize, though.  Not to mention people selling hundred 100s of thousands of coins they bought at 0.005 cents. Basically once the original holders stop selling off and the ones who are buying the market cap worth of volume at $1.00-$2.00 dollars hold then you will see a large price movement. Indeed, it's much like the price action in Bitcoin. Early holders eventually distribute, price corrects downward, new holders accumulate. And the cycle continues. As long as Bitsend remains fundamentally sound, I believe it will outperform Bitcoin and much of the altcoin market over the next year or two. |

Joined AD. Core wallet still syncing, but is pretty fast.
Suggestion: can you please provide a static build of Linux executables - I made it to work, but dependencies not trivial (current ubuntu lts)

Yes, but it gives a notion about the project. In case of bitsend - two major exchanges with huge liquidity is available: Bittrex Upbit This way, problems with one would'nt drop the price much, securing your deposits in masternodes. |
