Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I'm not exactly sure why. But there is growth on all fronts. Look at how many people are on this forum at the moment. The cat is out of the bag!

You'd do well to buy shares of Satoshi dice. Think of it as an investment of an investment. Bitcoins grew in value, and Satoshi dice did too. From 0.0048 - 0.006 now. That's a nice increase.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

there has been upward pressure for awhile Adam, just look at the dumps that were tried and failed last month. Once those got burned out, its only natural that the upward pressure continued. The original reason for the pressure was wordpress + bitpay numbers.

Bro, do you even blockchain?

Just look at the long term chart, it is a classic breakout rally after breaching first leg up high from back in late Aug. 2012. No other explanation needed.

why not ?
