Have clams too but the coin itself is not what makes it exciting, the client is quite basic. It's just-dice that makes it awesome.

Nxt is exciting in itself. The client is WOW, what you can do in the client is very sweet indeed. 


The new design proposal of Nxt 2.0 is very controversial.

It may be a turning point in either big adoption or may kill the golden goose (it's asset exchange) leading to total abandonment.

Risk is high currently but potential reward also tremendous it being priced these days almost equal to coins like NEM and Namecoin.

It's still playing the big league aiming to be up there with bitcoin and ethereum.

3) VPNCoin
4) NXT

All of them has their strengths and weaknesses. So it is always a good idea to spread the investment.

I own all of these coins except for NEM. They all have some good things that makes them unique one from another. The key to smarter investing would be to diversify it among promising crypto currencies like NXT and Qora. Just my opinion.

Its not true Pos, because you receive the interest directly from the Blockchain (if you are online or not) but I like HOdlcoin a lot.
There you can even set up fixed term deposits what will give you twice of the interest rate.

I feel Digicube is the best POS coin at the moment

Initially when i was introduced to crypto i used to buy igotspots (foolish developer) coins like balls,mmxiv n what not

I hope to see NXT shine one day as much as you do. It will really make it one of the most popular cryptos around besides ETH and BTC. Early investors will totally benefit from NXT once its price spikes. Hopefully, NXT 2.0 would bring better and more advanced features than most cryptos.

Also one of my favorites as a PoW crypto right now, but I think it will be even better once it becomes a PoS coin. Ethereum is definitely worth the investment as it could reflect a nice price movement once it hits this stage. And it is going pretty well right now, which I cannot imagine how Homestead release would be.

Still NXT, but I prefer PoI. Eventuually PoS, will be surrogated by something with incentive to move moeny around and to sit on stack.

In my opinion, it's the other way around. If there is an incentive to move coins around (like in NEM's PoI), the blockchain will tend to be bigger and scalability/blockchain size problems will emerge faster than in pure PoS systems.

Nevertheless, PoI is interesting as an incentive mechanism for young cryptocurrencies, because it's an incentive for services like exchanges, wallets and online casinos to emerge (which can make extra bucks because they move coins around regularly), and can contribute not only to more service businesses but also to a reasonable coin distribution. In a more mature scenario, PoS is more effective because it does not incentive to move coins more than necessary. The ideal mechanism would be PoW -> PoI or PoW/PoI for the nascent stage and PoS as the final stage.

It has gotten my attention, but something I wonder why it is so cheap when it is the original PoS coin. I am gathering a list of good PoS coins and investing into some of them to build up my portfolio. Diamond has a high stake rate which makes it very interesting to invest into it as well.

Peercoin hashrate has been soaring over the last month for no obvious reason. Somebody with a lot of hash is interested. I think it will be a safe place to be as the halving sorts itself out.
