Indeed. Ive never hanged out on slack, thats a waste of time. Certainly they lie about having 250 members in that social group. All they got is 2 salty noobs spamming ads or links to penny auction sites.

We agree. We will continue to update here, but all of the active members have moved to our Slack. It's the reason that you won't see many responses or discussion on this thread. Regardless, we will still actively write updates on this thread.

We are working on setting up the showcase for the http://Belacoin.org/invest winners. This means working with the selected entrepreneurs to offer guidance and some assistance on their business development. We will likely convert the http://Belacoin.org/invest website into the digital showcase for what's to come. Each business integrates or uses Belacoin in its own unique way.

We will be meeting with our Belacam programmers on Tuesday, January 24th to sync all of our recent developments. February will be the month when Belacam starts taking the spotlight. On our schedule for the next few weeks are Belacam promotions and beginning a closed testing of the network.

During this closed testing, we will probe for security holes and evaluate the user's experience. For more information on Belacam, please reference http://Belacoin.org, and you will find a brief overview of the project.

It's nice to see more trading volume on Belacoin lately. As a result of our http://Belacoin.org/invest initiative, we are bringing on three new entrepreneurs that are using Belacoin for their startups/services. We will be showcasing those on Belacoin's third birthday on January 29th, 2017. This means that there will be a total of 5 businesses/apps/services that use Belacoin. Currently, Bellachess is the only one that is open to the public, and we have been working long hours to make Belacam a success as well. We hope to begin a closed alpha testing of Belacam in February. Expect to hear a lot more about Belacam as we get closer towards finishing and releasing it.

As we've said before, we will be revealing and showcasing the three businesses that won $500 each from the http://Belacoin.org/invest initiative and will be using that money to launch and integrate Belacoin. These businesses are in varying stages of completion, so we should get to watch them all roll out over the month of February.

This is significant because January 29th then marks the start of Belacoin integration into these businesses. We have learned that releasing significant news all at once can cause an undesired dump in the price, so we are trying something new this time.

We will showcase each of the three businesses at separate times. For example (these times are not decided, this is only an example for better understanding), the first business might be revealed at noon, the second at 4pm, and the third at 8pm. That way, traders are incentivized to not immediately sell their coins after the first release since there are more reveals coming. This should create a day filled with anticipation, excitement, and learning as the community is introduced to three new leaders in the Belacoin community. Just as Coinbase is influential in shaping the Bitcoin community, our intention is that each of the three businesses will form their own spheres of influence in the Belacoin community.

Also, we believe that these releases will incentivize investors to buy and hold Belacoin on a long-term basis. This should have a positive effect on the price. The reasoning is that since these businesses are being revealed on January 29th but will not officially launch until different times in the next few weeks, the real event is still on the horizon.

It will be exciting to watch these businesses grow. They are not under our control, but they all are receiving guidance and assistance in areas where we can offer it. Belacoin is partnering with Maji Safi, a streetwear company based in Los Angeles. They will integrate Belacoin into their online store, paving the way for greater Belacoin acceptance in e-commerce.  Check out their website at http://www.majisafico.com, and be sure to show them support when they integrate Belacoin! Their integration of Belacoin will mark the first instance ever of being able to actively buy physical items with Belacoin.

Introducing Winner #2: Payper Paper



Providing a new way to earn Belacoin for free, Payper Paper allows you to create, share, and download mobile wallpapers. Creators are paid in Belacoin as their wallpapers get more popular, putting a monetary incentive to generate content.

Currently, the only way to get free Belacoin is by Bellachess. Payper Paper changes that. If you're skilled at Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, we recommend that you use the app once it comes out! This one should be finished within the next 2 weeks. Having multiple wallpapers with consistent popularity could generate steady and passive Belacoin income.

The third and final winner will be revealed in a few hours. Introducing Winner #3: Taskie



Taskie is a site site for anonymous freelance projects and microtasks. A microtask is a quick activity, such as sharing a business's Facebook post, filling out a survey for research scientists, or watching an advertisement. With Taskie, users can get paid for performing such actions.

 The site will run on TSK tokens and Belacoin. For the TSK token ICO, Taskie will accept both Bitcoin and Belacoin as payment. This marks the beginning of integrations of Belacoin into ICOs.

Belacoin has 2-minute block times, making it quicker than Bitcoin when ICOs want to raise funding. We will be looking to work with other ICOs, so we will all be watching Taskie and supporting them as they lead the way.
