All of this determines where you live as others have said.  Here in the US if you made a profit on btc then you must claim on your taxes.  If you lost money or did not cash out then there should be no tax liability.

I love Bitcoin
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

How do I file for taxes while earning any crypto currency such as bitcoin, litecoin, DASH, etc?

The best way to do it is to register company in Estonia. Estonia has 0% corporate tax - it means as long as you keep Bitcoin in company balance there are 0 taxes if you get capital gain and cash bitcoin out and keep money in the company account its still 0 tax, after that when you reinvest into you business development all this will have 0 tax as well.

Estonia has also the best legal framework to trade with crypto. If you are looking for more information www.consulting24.co

Hey guys  Wink

do you know actually if any country in the world accepts the payment of taxes in Bitcoin?
Just out of curiosity.
I think it was possible in USA Ohio State, but may not be possible anymore...

So let's say instead of paying my taxes in Japanese Yen (assuming I live in Japan), I will pay the government in BTC.

In my opinion, the value of taxes in most platform exchanges are really high and unacceptable, but it depends on how much your financial income is, remember that every country has its own laws even Bitcoin is not taxed in some  countries , but as I have known there is no trouble for earning crypto or trading , you just need to hold some amounts for taxes except that everything is going  well I would guess

I'm surprised not more governments are accepting Bitcoin payments for taxes. Makes it really easy for them to use chainalysis and track your coins.

To trade cryptocurrency, no taxes are required. Exchanges already levy their tax in the form of commissions from you
