Do you consider trading as gambling?

Trading is gambling. Everything is a gamble, actually. Because there will always be a probability that something will fail on every single thing. As for trading, the market is very unpredictable, especially in cryptocurrency. People will try to buy low, then later you notice that everyone is actually dumping the coin already before you can earn a profit.

If it is not cryptocurrency, you can say that there are ways, techniques or systems that you can follow to ensure that you can profit from trading. Then you can say it is not a gamble anymore because you have lessened the risks of failure. It is only a gamble if you are trade blindly or without any knowledge of trading.

Everything is a gamble as long as there is a probability of failure. But yeah, you're right, people planning to trade should know the procedures and the basic knowledge in trading to lessen the probability of losing.

Trading can be much better than gambling, because the chance is also higher to earn money with trading than with gambling so that is also very good for you if you are trading.
Gambling gives you fun and the reason that you are trading is to earn some money with it.

I've always been a huge gambler. I like creating useless schemes (as we all know bank always win ^^) and betting whole nights long in order to find THE right way of betting.
But I need change, I can't bet over and over on the same game cause after I see that nothing can be done to change the odds, I'm bored.

So I thought a bit about trading and I started not so long ago. and it feels a bit like a betting game without knowing the odds and with an infinity of parameters!

Does anyone else takes trading as a gambling game?

in logical view,its just same between gambling and trading,both are same wait for the answer,lose in gambling mean the price is going lower in trading,and won in gambling mean the price raise so high in trading,make sense?

Good idea.For me all online things thats is related to bitcoins and can use bitcoin on it is a gamble,everything is a gamble even just by storing your bitcoins on wallet thats a risk and a gamble because no matter and what time bitcoin price may drop.For me as i said trading is also a gable but not that risk than actual gambling.Because in trading anything may happen,the coin you are holding may drop.

no absolutely not. trading is not a gambling it is a sacrad prfession. trading is the core of every society. socities and states are run of trading while gambling is quite opposite.

I don't think gambling and trading has any similarity, trading is long term process some time we have to hold it for a long time there, binary option is term of gambling because nobody knows what will be into next coming minutes, but in trading if we have good knowledge about the pick than we have more bright chance to make good profit.

Not really, because with trading you actually have the chance of getting out of the market when you feel like it, and taking perhaps only a percentage of your entire principle as a loss. While with gambling you usually go all in, and there is no looking back.

Also trading actually involves skill in terms of picking the right thing to invest in, while gambling, it's pure luck man.

I think we can not still consider trading as gambling because they are not the same trading you are buying something good that you know it will worth in the future.. unlike gambling that you are playing with fun and excitement.. trading is boring but its giving you high profit and low risk.. gambling has high risk and high profit.  so they are different..

Not really, because with trading you actually have the chance of getting out of the market when you feel like it, and taking perhaps only a percentage of your entire principle as a loss. While with gambling you usually go all in, and there is no looking back.

You can bet on live markets in sports gambling and enter and exit anytime during the game.  I know someone who is a professional gambler doing exactly this.  Its just like they are a professional trader with a different stock, they talk smart, they are detached, it is their job.

the fact that you and i can't find any reason for the price swings doesn't mean they are random for example you can read this very informative topic to see how things work with the market.
and that is just a small part of the analysis you can make.

Trading with smart way can give us opportunity to make profit with more safety than gambling, it depend on the way what we are going to pick for trading and how much potential has to get safe exit, i don't think we can say this trading is another form of gambling.

They are different satisfactory and excitement that you will get in trading or gambling.. gambling i just kind of a game like flappy battle that involve money to bet so i will consider it as gambling unlike trading , trading you are buying something worth it in the future.. that you can sell it in high when the price is high..  this is just like a business if you are buying t-shirt in low price you can sell it in high amount..

yes I think it is almost the same. I was required to take a decision. however, trading is more secure because we are not going to lose all our bitcoin. different from the gambling that could cause us to lose all played out in money that we have.

In trading, you will put your money at stake with anticipation that the price will rise and therefore earn an interest. The anticipation here depends on the dynamics of supply and demand, which to me, is more of gambling. We gamble hoping that we will gain, just like in trading.

I don't really agree with that. The fun from gambling comes from you trying to predict something, comes from the risk involved. Some games might be fun for themselves but lets take a look at dice or online roulette. You are just pressing a button, there is no real fun in that, you if you take the risk of winning/losing money from those games, no one would play them.

It's the same thing in trading for a lot of people. Some just do it for the risk and the challenge, so for me it's quite the same. Also the same way you can see people doing trade for fun, you see a lot of gamblers, specially in poker sports betting, that live from those bets, so gambling in that case is taken very serious.

If there is risk involve then you can call that gambling.
The risk is you don't know if the price of the coin your trading/bought will rise or go down. For newbies who just started on trading, the risk to them is higher because they still don't have an idea if they should buy or sell. But there are many advantages on this to lessen the risk involve, This include the knowledge on how it works or what to buy at the right time and your experience.

yes both have the same risk. but trading is safer, when prices fall, it will certainly rise again, but it depends, if it trades altcoins may be more at risk. trading depending strategy, while gambling depends on luck.
